"I absolutely love it when small local businesses have super friendly staff and great quality food so that I can write about them! Golden Glazed Donuts is exactly that kind of place. It 's actually really large for a donut shop with a nice seating area if you want to stay and eat, it 's in a strip mall on Garland Rd but it 's hard to miss with it 's big blue sign and a smiling, dancing donut which greets you with Good Morning! . My husband had tried this place a few weeks ago and was so impressed with the service and the breakfast foods that he insist I go. I 'm so glad I did, these are probably some of the best kolaches I 've ever had, and they have a HUGE drink selection. I think I counted 6 coolers full of different drinks options from sodas to every breakfast drink you could imagine. They also have one of those gas station style cappuccino machines inside. I 'm not a huge sweets person so I tend to go for the cake donuts and these are done perfectly! Slightly crisp on the outside and moist cake on the inside heaven. I am posting tons of pictures because I can 't even begin to list the huge number of items they offer. Try this place out, you won 't regret it!"

"Great Local Donut Shop. Growing up in the northeast I am accustomed to family owned donut shops on every corner. When I moved to Anchorage I was upset at the lack of selection until I found Golden Donuts! I have stopped numerous times in the past few months to pick up donuts to take to work and have never been disappointed. The service, selection, and presentation leave nothing to be desired. Its a local donut shop that frankly serves a delicous product."

"I think it’s a rule that you have to stop at a place called “McHappys”.Found this place while down in Point Pleasant WV. As I entered the store, I was greeted with the amazing smell of fresh pastries.They had a great selection of donuts, cookies, assorted pastries cakes. So a walked the display cases and made my selection of assorted goodie’s. The staff were unbelievably friendly helpful, recommending different things they thought I might enjoy. I also got a cup of their coffee as well, gotta have coffee with your sweets. The store was extremely clean lots of tables to sit at to enjoy you snacks. I will definitely be back to grab some more of their awesome donuts pastries again."

"Stopped by Krispy Kreme to get a dozen donuts 6 glazed, 2 chocolate covered custard, 4 chocolate covered cream filled, not that hard of an order. I don't know what made me look, I had all kinds of donuts, clearly not my order. I handed it back andexplained my order once again, pretty simple, (so I thought). Wrong...I should have examined all the chocolate covered donuts,they were all cream filled. You would think that making more money that there might be fewer mistakes made but, that is not thecase, no one cares anymore they don't take pride in anything they do, it just a job and and who cares about the end result orcustomer...oh well. Oh, and if you call you can't get a person or leave a message."

"We absolutely love Dan's! Whenever we're visiting family, we make it a point to stop by since we live out of town. During my last visit, I got so caught up admiring and choosing donuts in line that I missed the Cash Only sign. Oops! Luckily, a very friendly and efficient young gentleman set my fresh selections aside while I quickly went to get cash from a nearby ATM. I was really grateful for that because they sell out so fast. It's rare for them to have day-old donuts since they’re usually gone by 9 or 10 in the morning. They’re just so delicious! We devoured them too quickly to take any photos. Lol!"

"Service is great when the drive thru is open, but often it will randomly be closed. After ordering inside the store, in the future I will probably skip a trip here all together if the drive thru is not open.First off, the girl at the donut case did not acknowledge me at all, right after helping the customer in front of me she stood there staring downwards and would not make eye contact. I couldn't tell if she was fiddling with the donuts for some reason or looking at her phone, but I stood there for over a minute before another employee finally walked up and helped me. All the while the other girl stood there just looking downwards. Really strange.When I got my order my drink was wrong- you guys have iced coffees and iced lattes on the menu, please note the difference. I offered to take the drink the employee had already made anyway but I wish I had not as I did not like it at all. So while the iced coffees are good and very reasonably priced, I would definitely not recommend the iced lattes. In addition the donut I got was totally stale. Not sure how that happens when your whole claim to fame is fresh donuts.This visit was in the afternoon, and while I've come other times in the afternoon and had an OK experience, they've made my drink wrong before. The AM staff seems to be much more on the ball."

"Had to stop here when I was passing through Erie. They had quick and efficient service. I was there during a time they were making their famous glazed donuts on the conveyor belt and it was amazing to see! They have a variety of donut flavors, as well as some beverages. There is a small sitting area inside and restroom for customers. They have free parking on site. You enter from a side road that goes into the plaza area with a lot of stores/restaurants/assorted businesses."

"This is the place to visit if you're craving fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. There's a glass wall where you can watch them being made right in front of you. I went on a mission to find the Valentine's Day conversation donuts, but there weren't many left when I arrived, so we opted for some other heart-shaped ones instead. I'm giving this review four stars because many of the donuts we received didn't look very appealing. The frosting appeared messy and haphazard. If I return and see that their quality has improved, I’ll gladly change my rating to a five. On the plus side, there is plenty of parking available."

"The place was a bit run-down, so I decided to go through the drive-thru. The guy at the window didn’t have information about the allergens in the donuts, but to his credit, he did look into it. I needed to know more about allergy details, and he wasn’t sure about most of my questions. However, the food was good and ready by the time I reached the window. The other employee there was very nice and clearly helped him out. This seems like a training opportunity; otherwise, I think it could have been a 5-star experience."
