"This restaurant is open 24 hours, serving both breakfast and dinner entrees late into the night (approximately until midnight or very early morning). It has a casual atmosphere and is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat after a show or theater performance. The chicken fried steak entree was exceptional - the best I've had in a long time. Our party of 8 all enjoyed their meals, with some opting for breakfast and others choosing late night dinner options. The service was quick and friendly."

"I was looking forward to visiting this place in Chicago after reading the menu and watching TikTok videos. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. The wait was as expected due to the small lobby size. The cashier seemed tired, repeatedly asked for clarification on our simple order, and didn't allow us to finish our order. After waiting 20 minutes, I received a Stan Breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, NO cheese), but it had cheese on it. I returned the sandwich, showing the staff the order ticket specifying no cheese. When my order was ready again after five minutes, it still had cheese on it; they attempted to scrape it off. Upon sending it back, the staff was surprised that the food preparer had tried to remove the cheese rather than preparing a new order. While they offered to remake the sandwich, I declined, substituted a red velvet and apple cider donut.The overall experience was not worth the anticipation and extended wait."

"Decided to order online and sit down for my order. I noticed the people working were moving VERY slow. I waited 20 minutes and had only seen 1 of my drinks sitting on the counter. After another 10 minutes, I got a call saying they were out of sausage for my sandwiches and if I wanted bacon instead. Agreed to that and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. My husband went up to check the order and he grabbed whatever they had made for us already. Mind you, drinks had been sitting for more than 20 minutes. He asked for the rest of the order and when they were getting our donuts ready, they said they were already out of 1 so he ended up substituting. They were so lost when he told them we were still missing 2 drinks, they didn't even read the ticket to see what was missing and he had to tell them. we finally got our order...only to get a cold latte by now, a flavorless chai latte and horribly made sandwiches. Never had to wait more than 40 minutes for an order like this. Employees working there today definitely need more training and better attitude towards customers. I love Stan's but will definitely go to a different location. Was very disappointed."

"I am not a huge donut fan but I do occasionally drop by to see if they have my new favorite Le Stan Croissant Donut which I love this pastry. This donut is make like a croissant where it is very fluffy with flavored cream inside and lightly dusting of sugar on the top. I can 't say no to this at all. Don 't get me wrong, I enjoy other donuts too like the pistachio glazed or just an old-fashion. All these delights are fairly more expensive compared to other donut shops but you don 't get the uniqueness in the textures and taste that keeps me coming back for more. Cost per donut is $4.25 for my Croissant. This location is super busy but towards the end of the day they seem to have 1 or 2 left which is good since if there was more there, I may buy them all. I highly recommend you try a donut here."

"I'm honest: we're a sidecar household. But we decided to try something else. Overall mixed feelings about this place. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful because the donut selection is overwhelming. But they're patient and we didn't feel hurried while we took our 12 out. I'd probably have given 3 stars here if it wasn't for the staff, they deserved the extra star. I also tried an icy pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and I thought it was delicious. I usually don't get PSLs because I hate artificial flavors, but I had a chance and was so glad I did. None of these fake, bitter aftertastes of a syrup, and not excessively sweet. I like my coffee strong, so next time I would add more shots. Overall, the donuts for me were not as good as Sidecar, but I enjoy some of them as the blueberries filled donuts. Your malasada-type donut with the sugar on the outside was very delicious, but I ended the filling because I didn't like it. But I thought consistently that the actual dough of the raised donuts was quite delicious. So pros and everywhere, there were some pleasant and not so big aspects. But as sidecar people, the price this was great. We have a whole dozen for the same price we usually spend like 5 donuts at Sidecar lol. I think I will be back, but I will stay on some selected favorites."

"So good!! My husband and I got a few things to share and try. The bacon, egg, and cheese Stanwich was amazing!! We both thought it would be fun if they offered this breakfast sandwich on a glazed donut. We got it on the bread that it normally comes withand thought it was super soft and yummy. The bacon was great, and there was a decent amount. The eggs were a bit crumbley whichmade it a bit messy to eat. We also got the Stan's Greatest Hits 3 donut pack with glazed, buttercream bismark, and a nutellapocket. When we first saw the size of these donuts we were in shock! They are massive!!! We ate the glazed first and that's whenwe thought it would be amazing as the buns for the stanwich! It was the perfect texture and the right thickness of glaze. Wetried the other 2 donuts later on and they were both soooo good! Lots of filling in them unlike other donut shops. I wish welived nearby to try out more flavors sooner. We will definitely be stopping by when we are in town again!"

"First time to Randy's. The staff here is awesome and explained the menu and the different tiers of donuts they offer. I opted for a mixed dozen of their classic, deluxe, fancy and premium. My coworkers liked them! Will have to order here again soon. The parking was quite convenient in the shared lot with other business. Other customers had called in their order for pick up, which works great for large orders. Update: Went back to Randy's again two days later. They were giving out free small cups of coffee of their new blend, plus I was craving their donuts again. I ended up getting a Maple Raised which was my favorite flavor. The donut is a fairly good size with a thick coat of maple frosting. The coffee was rich and bold. One note, they dont have half and half available and only have the little coffee cream cups. I hear their's a new location coming soon in Downey, so will have to check that out in the future!"

"They're open late and they're not McDonald's. If you crave late night pizza, or you just didn't get a break at work and you get off around 11:30 midnight, and you don't want the usual fast crappy food, Slice Factory is good. You sometimes have to wait a while for your order, if you order something other than a slice of cheese or sausage. If you order directly from them, it's way cheaper than DoorDash or any other food delivery service, and the slices are HUGE. And their salads are also HUGE. I think their best slices are Tropical Barbecue Chicken, Factory Special, and Veggie. (This is not my favorite place for a jumbo slice of sausage pizza; if that's what I crave, I'll go with Anthony's on Cermak if it's before midnight, or DiNico's on Roosevelt after midnight both in Berwyn, too. Don't miss the Nutella bites! They're awesome."

"New manager???? Trying to save on costs by smaller portions???? Chocolate twists were unusually smaller. I’m there pretty much there every weekend, so I definitely noticed the difference today. Just happened to notice them making a blended drink for a drive thru customer and the girl making the drink made the comment to her manager that it did not fill the cup. He, who I assume was the manager(maybe not) asked her how much was left in the blender, she said nothing and showed him. She proceeded to scrape as much as she could out into the cup, still only filling it a bit over half. His solution…. fill it the rest of the way with whipped cream….. I love Randy’s donuts… but for the price, I do expect the size of donut we have been used to…"

"We've been married for almost 42 years as of June 2023, so you could say we've enjoyed plenty of Randy's Donuts over the years. We still haven't tried all the flavors, so we have plenty more to look forward to! We're young grandparents who believe in celebrating life, and we cherish our time together in love and gratitude. Whenever we're in the area or passing through, we always make sure to stop at Randy's to grab at least a couple of dozen because my husband could easily eat a dozen on his own! Don’t worry; he doesn’t do that in one sitting, though—he stays in good shape by working out regularly. I hope to meet the owner someday, and I’d never say no to a FREE dozen during any visit! "Have had good experiences previously at this location, but today that was not the case.Service was poor. Guy had difficulty with our order, realized he missed a doughnut when we got home. Had to stop while taking our order because he was interrupted by the last customer whose order he also had messed up. I should have taken the hint and either double checked my order or just left.The donuts aren't cheap, so you kind of want them to look nice instead of being literally thrown into the box on top of each other without a care. I asked for 6 of the small rounds, and he literally tossed them into the box with everything else, sideways, upside down sticking to the bottom/side of the box, etc. Also, got a pink cake doughnut that was really really salty, and I can't think that was intentional.Not a good day for this Randy's. Reluctant to return to this location if this is the level of service offered.I have to say the raspberry filled was fantastic, though. They can make really great donuts."

"We live out of state, and every time we come in Illinois to visit my family, we always stop at this location to get these amazing donuts. Monday, October 9 we get there at 12:15 PM and they had not a single donut left!! Mind you we’ve been to this location at different times they always have donuts. So we ask them is there anyway they can make more donuts and they said no and told us it would take three hours to make donuts? Three hours for donuts and all we wanted was specifically two donuts. That was the biggest disappointment of my life and the fact that I came all the way out of state just to find out they had no donuts had me so mad."

"The last few times I did a special order from here the doughnuts seemed to be whatever was left from the day before. My most recent order for pick up had one doughnut missing as well as the wrong colors which was a huge disappointment for a bunch of kids I was bringing them to for a play date. So of course we had a child really upset to have not gotten their special doughnut. We had not seen these children in a long time and then one request was to get specially order donuts from Spunky Dunkers. I asked the girl taking the order to please add red and green sprinkles. I must have repeated this about three times because I have had issues in the past and even repeated the entire order to her. What I got in the box was all all kinds of colors and some were dry doughnuts that were definitely leftovers. When I called to tell them about the missing doughnut and the inaccurate order they said “do you want to drive back here and get your money back?”. I live 30 minutes away from the location so I made a special trip. I know that customer service is extremely important for a family owned business. I have supported this company for a long time and even with their Instagram post asking for customers to come purchase a doughnut when the pandemic hit. I don’t think I will be coming back here for a while. It might be just a inaccurate order of doughnuts to your employees, but please be considerate and double check when handling doughnut orders. It might just make a child’s day"

"Headed to visit a relative and decided to go a different route and saw this place and filed it away to look it up. Glad I did. The online reviews were good so I decided to test drive next time I was near. They fill their Long Johns as you order and I read they will fill as much as you want. I went white cream and asked for the max. It was definitely max filling and it was really good. I think I might prefer the white cream Red Donut in Lexington just a tad. The apple fritter is absolutely fantastic; its different. More done than other fritters but still top notch. The sour cream bar was just mindblowingly good. Once again just a little more done than some might prefer but to me this donut was up there with any I have ever had. The cake donuts are very light. Service was fantastic, quick and the lady (owner was quite patient. These donuts are huge. Wish I lived closer."
