"The staffing was lovely as a whole. Everybody greeted me and my guest the minute we walked in. The ambience of this place was amazing, and it was really warm and cozy inside. Low lights and more of an intimate setting (aside from the loud music the dj plays). My only recommendation (and gripe) regarding seating is making sure the tables are proportioned with the couches at a reasonable and comfortable size. If you’re not in an actual chair you’re seated on the couch or in the booth-like seating, you’re sitting extremely low, so you have to overextend in order to reach the table or sit up completely close to the table in order to reach anything. Its almost equivalent to a kid without a high chair trying to eat at a high table. Kind of uncomfortable and awkward. The food was subpar, at best. The pictures on Open table left a lot to be desired. I had the salmon which was absolutely flavorless. Even the lemon caper sauce they served with it, could not save it. My date had the lamb chops, and while they were very tender and the meat itself tasted great, they also lacked tremendously in seasoning. It was almost like they just cook the meats/seafoods with no seasoning or flavoring at all other than whatever taste it gives off in its natural state. Overall the food was the most disappointing cause I’ve seen such raving reviews. Yet, I’ve had way better food for less. There’s also about a gratuity included automatically. Did not mind that, as our server was cool attentive. But overall, the ambience is the best thing about this place. Very cute inside."

"I made a reservation for 25 for a post memorial service family dinner at Simple Palate. They opened the restaurant early and brought in staff 2 servers and 2 cooks just for our group. However, we showed up at the restaurant with almost 50 family members twice as many as expected and twice as many as they had planned for. What did owner Kevin Romanko of Simple Palate do? He welcomed us with open arms without complaint! The two servers that came in early just to serve us worked tirelessly and without complaint for two and a half hours!! The two cooks quickly prepared the food for our unexpectedly large group. At no point during our visit did the owner Kevin or his two servers ever show the slightest sign of discontent. They happily took care of all of us. This was my first visit to this restaurant. The owner and his staff turned what was a difficult time of grief for my family into a positive family memory. Thank you Kevin, thank you two cooks (whose names I do not know), and thank you two special servers who came in early and handled a large crowd with class. I highly recommend Simple Palate!"

"This was my first time eating here. My sister and I flew in from Texas to visit our father. He brought us here to Bob Evan's he said this is his and his wife's favorite place to eat. They eat here all the time. So when they brought us here. There was only two waitresses working at the time. So they were short of staff. The usual waitress who always serves my dad. She had waited on us. But at the time her body language and attitude. I didn't appreciate it. She was rude on how she asked me what I like to drink. I don't tolerate rudeness. It is not my problem that they were under staff. Especially when it was my first time eating there and visiting from out of state. But besides all that. I really did enjoy the food. It was really scrumptious"

"We go to this Bob Evans regularly. At our most recent visit we had the pleasure of having Trish as our server. She is one of the most bubbly, and friendliest people I know. She always gets our order right, she knows what we want before we even ask for it. She's very attentive and treats her customers like family. I wish that all of the places we go to eat would have someone like Trish working there. She's one of she's one of the reasons we keep coming back!"

"It's disappointing to see such hardworking and friendly employees only to have a manager come in and disrupt the atmosphere. This particular manager showed up in what looked like pajamas—when did it become acceptable for managers not to make an effort in their appearance while they’re directing their team and interacting with customers? Sure, we see the uniform t-shirts that say "Baskin Ribbons," but a dress code for managers would go a long way in preventing them from looking like someone who just rolled out of bed. Nothing about her presence conveyed management, apart from collecting cash and giving orders. Come on, BR, you can do better in representing your establishment. Today’s experience was sadly lacking; it was clear she wouldn’t be around for long and wasn’t even supporting her team. I understand that finding good help can be challenging, but there are plenty of experienced individuals out there who won’t let their title affect their attitude."

"This was the worst Baskin Robbins experience I've ever had. They wouldn't let us sample any of the ice cream before purchasing, which was really disappointing. We attempted to pay for a $40 order, but they refused to accept our $50 bill. The entire experience was just awful. I understand that COVID has changed things, but they're still handing out spoons for ice cream that are just thrown away afterwards. Those spoons don’t get reused; they just end up in the trash. It's frustrating! At this point, I think Braums is a far better option, and even Dairy Queen is preferable, despite not having hand-dipped ice cream. Plus, the place was quite dirty."

"I ordered a Father's Day cake through Baskin Robbins' website, but I didn’t receive a receipt despite being charged on my credit card. Worried that the store hadn’t received my order, I reached out to customer service via email. To my surprise, the store manager personally called me the next morning to confirm they had my order and promptly sent me the receipt via email to ease my concerns. When I picked up the cake at the scheduled time, it looked and tasted fantastic! I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and will likely order another cake for my next special occasion. "The staff were rude and inattentive, I ordered 2 scoops in a waffle BOWL for my granddaughter and they put it in a waffle cone. When I pointed out their mistake they got upset with me and then left the ice cream in the cone an turned in upside down in a waffle bowl, this upset my granddaughter a little as she has special issues when it comes to eating. When I ordered my 2 scoops in a waffle bowl they picked up a cone again and I caught them and said no cone the waffle BOWL please, I got heavy disgusted sighs and dirty looks. All workers were teenagers, perhaps their should be an adult manager on duty at all times to supervise the teenagers because if not you will lose business as they do not want to do the job properly. It's been a favorite spot to take my family and clients for many many many years, but if this ever happens again I will NEVER go back! They will get one more chance and that it's it. "I thought the wine was very good the service very nice. The main course .. it was not good. For the duck and gnocchi was so awful. It was awful because the gnocchi was mush and not cooked. The shredded pre frozen duck was terrible. Mixed in a big pile something. It was disgusting and could not be eaten. My wife had the roasted chicken and pasta and it was so salty .. it was not edible. The main entrees are the reason I would never go back there again. I realize it's going to take a long time before resturants and cooks recover from all that has changed in the world but still wouldnt go back"

"It was a mixed bag. The Lobster Bisque was delicious. I’m told the Branzino was good. The Caesar salad with shrimp added left a lot to be desired- no flavor in the dressing and it’s the dressing that makes the salad. The shrimp did not have any seasoning. The temperature could be better regulated. It was extremely cold. Lastly, upon arriving for our reservation we stopped at the hostess desk and was checked in by a hostess. She gave a table assignment to another person who took us to our table to be seated. As we were being taken to our table another person (another hostess? came up and asked if we had reservations. What was that???"

"However, some portions are on the smaller side while others are just right. They often run low on rainbow sherbet, which is a big hit with people who love it. They should definitely update their supply of rainbow sherbet, which is why I only rated them four stars. I’ve loved this ice cream since I was a kid, and that’s over 50 years! They still offer jelly, sweets, and ice cream, but for some reason, they don’t seem to serve the same varieties anymore. You can still get nuts, colorful sprinkles, and chocolate sprinkles, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is located on the busy 163rd Street, known for its heavy traffic and history of accidents. Please be cautious, especially with children—make sure they’re in their car seats, and don’t leave any valuables visible in your vehicle. Close all doors and windows. It’s also a good idea not to wear jewelry when out and about in Miami. Stay safe and be smart during your travels. I want to guide you to a great culinary experience, but I also care about your safety. One last reminder: do not leave small children in cars, even for a minute. The Miami sun can be unpredictable, and it’s heartbreaking to see children suffer from heat exposure. They are our future, and we need to look after them. "We visited today after a long day filled with doctor appointments and two blood draws for my little ones, ages 3 and 2. Unfortunately, my 3-year-old has a pretty serious milk allergy, but Baskin-Robbins usually offers some fantastic vegan flavors for her. However, today they were completely out! You can imagine how sad my little girl was. Christopher truly went above and beyond to lift her spirits! He searched through the back cooler and eventually discovered a unique flavor. "I visited this restaurant with friends in July 2023. My friend ordered a Reuben with sourdough bread but received it with rye instead—despite asking three times for the correct bread. Eventually, it was taken off the bill, but my friend would have preferred to enjoy their Reuben sandwich as ordered. Additionally, the potatoes in my breakfast chorizo burrito were undercooked. Overall, I’m not completely dissatisfied, and we might give it another try in the future, but I’m not exactly enthusiastic about it at the moment."

"I came across an advertisement for their tiger milk boba tea and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The black tea was slightly sour, and the caramel had settled at the bottom of the cup, so there was no way to mix it up because of the straw's opening. I was particularly let down by the tapioca pearls; I expected standard quality, but many of them were broken before I even got to sip them through the straw, and they had a rubbery texture. This location is a combination of Baskin Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts, so I had higher hopes since I usually enjoy Dunkin’. The only positive aspect I can mention is its convenient location right across from the Journal Square PATH train station. I suppose I shouldn’t have expected decent boba from a business that isn't specialized in it."

"The fried chicken breast was tough, as if it had been breaded and fried straight from frozen—definitely not high quality. The mashed potatoes were acceptable, but the coleslaw had an unpleasant taste. On the positive side, the fresh biscuits and banana bread were excellent, and the egg and bacon were good as well. The lemonade was refreshing, and the service was friendly. This was my first visit to a Bob Evans since it was nearby, and I can now check it off my bucket list."
