"Previously went had come here for dinner on a Monday night and thought the service and food was good so I decided to return with my family on a Sunday for dinner around 6 PM. They ID at the door yet we went inside and there was a bunch of little kids inside, probably around age 2-3 yo. The ambiance inside was a party vibe so we sat outside. The aye vale roll sounded really good but it was underwhelming, do not recommend. The mofonguitos were our favorite starter. Our waitress was good at the beginning but then she went on break and that's when everything went downhill. The waitress that replaced her was a complete disaster. We ordered a second round of beer after finishing our appetizers before our dinner arrived. When the entree arrived we reminded the waitress about the beers and she still didn't bring it. Half way through our meal, we see her and remind her again, NOTHING. It wasn't until we were done with our meal that we tell her for a third time that she finally goes and gets the beers. Honestly this second time the food was not very good. La Diva was okay, a little too fishy for my taste. La suegra was just a bunch of cream but not much flavor. The veggies in the chofan rice were undercooked and extremely hard and crunchy. Honestly the best dish was the mofongo. The pay our check it took another 30 minutes after giving my credit card as I watched the waitress walk up and down the entire restaurant with my card in her hand. I use to love this place but both service and food quality have significantly diminished."

"1. **Food:** The portion sizes were small and not worth the prices. I ordered yucca fries, which I sent back twice because they were raw. My husband’s surf and turf came with a lobster tail that was barely a bite-sized portion, all for $54. We also ordered two exotic yucca mofongos at $16 each, along with shrimp for an extra $6. We were overcharged—our bill should have been $44, but we were charged $52. The empanadas were also quite small given their price. 2. **Drinks:** The drinks were very watered down; they definitely need to hire a new bartender. I ordered a pitcher of sangria that had no fruit in it. When we asked for fruit, we were given just some chopped orange peels. The Blue Hawaiian in a jumbo size was terrible—no flavor and too watery. The piña colada was disappointing as well; the pineapple juice tasted spoiled and there was no coconut flavor at all. 3. **Ambiance:** The atmosphere was okay with nice decor, but the music was far too loud, making it impossible to have a conversation during dinner. The DJ played the same artist all night. On a positive note, the hookah was enjoyable. Overall, while we managed to have a good time, as a Latina, I was very disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. I would recommend avoiding the mixed drinks here and suggest going to the New Apollo across the street—I've heard their drinks are much better. We ended up spending over $400, and I wish it had been worth it; I certainly won’t be returning."

"Arrived with my husband and kids y.o and THe place was empty so there was no need for reservation. The host had us choose where to sit. Place is modern decor-dark greys, white, reddish light fixtures. Place seems small but looks nice, good bar area and bathroom was updated and clean. Waiter explained that he’s was new, which explained why he was unfamiliar with the fact that their website showed there was a kids menu and only gave us regular menus that had no kids menu. For the kids I specifically ordered plain burgers-hold the bread, with side order fries for the kids. We ordered two drinks-coconut margarita and a red sangria. Red sangria came in mason jar but the coconut drink was watered down and we ordered a sangria. Kids food came with the buns, some sort of topping that tasted like bbq/bacon with ground meat. Had to scrape it off for he kids to eat and the burgers were overcooked-had burnt grill marks. As a result my husband ordered just appetizers: chorizo flatbread, short rib tips, empanadas. The presentation was appealing, overall the appetizers tasted good, had flavor. The empanadas were spinach and cheese, chicken, and ropa vieja-The ropa vieja was a bit dry but ok. Overall the experience or rather the feel of the place was cozy, empty with a few young patrons at the bar. I would not come here again for dinner but on the positive note they are open for night time lounge. If I returned for drinks at night, I would probably just order just appetizers and drinks."
