"I ordered a dish from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with what I received. The spaghetti had whole tomatoes and only 4 pieces of mushroom, which was not at all what I was expecting. It was so bad that I couldn't even take a bite. When I called to inquire about my order, the owner told me that was how they made the dish and refused to offer a refund. He was rude and hung up on me. I have since looked at pictures of the dish online and it looked nothing like what I received. I will never be giving this restaurant my business again due to their poor customer service."

"My boyfriend and I love this place. We both had been here many times before and were so pleased to see it opened back up after a long few years of being closed. We thought the pandemic took another great restaurant. To our surprise they’re back! So, last Saturday we decided to go there for dinner for the first time in years and it was still as good as we remembered! Everything was fantastic. I got the scallops and he got the filet and oysters of course because I haven’t stopped hearing about them from him since the beginning of time! Well. My boyfriend ended up leaving his wallet on the table when we left because we both got so distracted reading the book our check was delivered in with all the customers signatures from over the years. We didn’t realize it until the next afternoon that he was missing it. Unsure of where we even left it, we traced our steps and realized that had to be where it was and we called the next day they had it. Everything in it. If I could give 10 stars I would, just for that! That could have been a really stressful situation on a holiday weekend. Thank you to our server for keeping it safe! I am sorry we can’t remember your name! But, I hope you get the recognition you deserve! "Ordered to-go on a Saturday night. We phoned in at 5:50 and they said it would be a 35-40 minute wait, so we got there at around 6:40 and they told us 10 more minutes. We ordered the cheese tortellini with pink sauce and spinach ravioli with pink sauce. The meal came with free garlic bread. Needless to say, the food was yummy and the tortellini portion was generous so I have more than half leftover. I do wish it came with a little more sauce to coat all the tortellini. It came out to be $38 so I would say it’s pretty worth it! The only thing is that their time estimate is a bit off. Another person came after me to pick up their to-go order after being told it’ll be ready in 45 minutes, but was told they’d have to wait 30 more minutes. So if you’re feeling this place, I’d recommend ordering an hour before you’re actually hungry or else you’d just be hangry."

"I don?t like putting in bad reviews but this was something I felt needed to be said. This was a few weeks ago. My husband and I love to try new places. We live around the area and had heard good things. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in our visit. We were the only couple of color that night. We did not feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The supervisor or manager for the night made us feel like a burden when we asked for a table of 2. We were sat at the bar while they tried to figure out seating for us. Even though half of the room was empty and never filled up as we were there most of the evening. Our serve seemed more preoccupied with his other tables than with us as service took longer than expected. The food was subpar. Both my husband and I work in the food industry. The food we were served had the same look and taste of year one culinary students hosting their first big dinner. Overcooked and bland with some sauce artfully thrown on the plate to make it look pretty. It was a very disappointing first time visit. I hope the menu and the style of hospitality has improved. Only thing I recommend is the bar."

"We visited for a Friday dinner, and I have to say, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced! Don't be misled by the outdated decor—the restaurant is always bustling with a lively crowd enjoying post-work drinks on Friday nights. My only recommendation would be to enter through the outdoor entrance, rather than through the shopping center, which I find quite unappealing. Avoid going in there!"

"Went to Fugato last night with my husband. It was part of an early Christmas gift for him and we had both never been there before. We were greeted warmly and the rest of our time went smoothly, in addition to having a delicious meal. My husband ordered the fresh fish special, a snapper Francese with a side of linguine in an Alfredo sauce. I had the lobster ravioli. Both were perfect. Their house bread is served perfectly hot and delicious and their homemade tiramisu did not disappoint. Only thing about the dessert was that it was not big enough to share, it seems to be an individual portion, but it was very good. We felt the staff was very attentive. The final compliment goes to the Cafe Bonbon, OMG! I sipped a little out of curiosity and it was delish. My husband smiled until his cup was empty. We will go back."

"My wife and I were tired and hungry after hiking the old railway lines in Tannersville. Initially, we had planned to dine at the mill in Saugerties, but we decided to try this charming little Italian restaurant on Main Street in Saugerties instead, and what a fantastic choice it turned out to be! Wow! The food and service were exceptional. Franco made us feel like part of the family. The only mistake we made was ordering the same dish (chicken parm), which was outstanding, but now we'll never know what other amazing options might have come from Franco’s classic menu! The stuffed shells we had as an appetizer were served in one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted. I can't wait to go back! And let’s not forget the tiramisu!"
