"Great!. I don't know why, but I was quite surprised at how good the food was at Cinco de Mayo. I guess I just didn't have high expectations walking in. <br/ <br/ They have a large selection of seafood entrees, which, for me, is great! I got the garlic shrimp which came with rice, beans and guacamole salad. If you like garlic, this shrimp is for you! I personally cannot get enough garlic so I was loving every bite!!! Pouring the left over garlic sauce on the rice was so delicious.<br/ <br/ In addition to the food, the service was outstanding as well. We will return!"

"this place never disappointed! it is tradition to eat here. I will say that the most unforgettable birthday dinner was when we were yesterday (05/02!) tornado sirenenen broke and the server made sure that we came to our table and know that the sirens went out (we were on our news apps anyway in the weather) and in case it is not that their safer place is the freezer. very polite and informative!"

"We visited the restaurant for dinner on a Friday night, and they were very busy with a 30-45 minute wait for a table for two. Instead, we decided to get take-out which was quoted to be ready in 20-30 minutes, but ended up taking closer to 45 minutes. I may consider dining in during their off-peak hours next time. I appreciated the generous amount of tortillas provided with the fajitas order, as well as the inclusion of both queso and salsa with the chips. I ordered a combination of beef and chicken fajitas, and found that I preferred the chicken over the beef. The meats were marinated well, but the chicken had a more pronounced flavor compared to the beef."

"we stopped to get a bite before we went to salem. the food was delicious and fresh. the drinks were amazing I had a coconut margarita and my man had la playa) absolutely delicious and the presentation was so beautiful with coconut edges. our waitress was great. I can't say enough about my quick dinner, but I can say I'll be back before I leave."

"I've eaten twice at Don Rafa since it changed from Mestezos. I have to say it's an enormous improvement. This is my favorite Mexican cuisine in the area. The staff was friendly and fast. Prices are better than most other places. The sections are high. I can't even finish the smaller combos. They are also great to offer many extras. A good amount of chips and salsa. Guacamole and acid cream were included without demand. I think it's best to compare it to Mexico Cafe. Mexico Café has some tasty food, but is also much more expensive, so Don Rafa's is much better for the dollar. It's also very close to where I live."

"Mouth-melt brisket and great selections. Loved the place, but got some cole slaw that wasn't quite right anymore. The hostess checked and confirmed that there was a problem with how they dated the product, but missed an opportunity to make it right for us, the customer. We received thanks for telling them about the problem, but that was all. Even giving us a good cole slaw to-go or a discount or any little thing would have made us feel better about having ordered and paid for product we couldn't eat. Overall we are happy about the place and will probably return."

"Dining at this restaurant was a delightful experience. I found myself stuck in traffic on N. Henry, but even after 25 minutes of travel time, my meal was still hot when I got home. I’m talking about steaming-hot egg rolls that were crispy on the outside and piping hot on the inside. Not a single variety I chose was left over. This doesn’t happen often, and I wish it would! I will definitely be recommending this establishment."

"The food was fresh and delicious at this restaurant. Our server Rachelle was very pleasant. The chips and queso were tasty, and my favorite chicken tortilla soup was also delicious. I am picky about tortilla soup, and this one was one of the best I've had. It had been a few years since my last visit, and I was impressed with the remodel - it looks great!"

"If I could give this place a rating of zero stars, I definitely would. The staff seemed completely uninterested in their customers, displaying no friendliness whatsoever—no greeting, no smiles, and no offers to help. I ended up leaving without any utensils and had to return to ask for some, but all I received was a fork when I actually needed a knife. The dining area resembled a cluttered hoarder's home—awkward seating and no air conditioning. I can only imagine what the kitchen must be like. I will never come back to this place again."
