"Making reservations on line was simple. However, why would you ask if there is a particular occasion being celebrated during our visit at the Chophouse if absolutely nothing was done to accommodate that occasion??? We were celebrating a special birthday, chose the Chophouse as an elegant option in Greeley, then were sadly disappointed. We walked in and waited at least 5 minutes before even being greeted by anyone. We sat down, our server Heather) came to our table, asked how we were, we asked how she was in return to which she sarcastically replied, I 'm here. She apologized for our cocktails taking so long, then said, Getting the younger generation to help out is like pulling eye teeth . She walked from our table mumbling something as she was clearly disgruntled. We ordered wine, then our entrées. I did request nothing having garlic i.e. allergy) I appreciated his willingness to substitute with brussel sprouts. There was nothing i.e. a dessert offered) to celebrate the special occasion I 'd mentioned on my reservation: All in all, I was so sorry I chose the Chophouse for our special dinner. I understand it is very difficult for restauranteurs these days to have enough staff to satisfy their renewed post-COVID business. I was in the Food Beverage business for several years, so usually am most understanding of difficult issues extenuating circumstances. I typically love to compliment restaurant owners, servers, chefs, etc. as I believe in accentuating the positive. However, this time I cannot help but be honest as it appeared I was spending a fair amount of money on a sub-standard experience. Thank you for allowing me to share!"
