"When I say consistency... I MEAN CONSISTENCY! Out for a quick meal during a very busy lunch time in a geographical area totally new to me, Lakeland Fla. After being out all day, now I have the hungry bugs. So I pull out my trusty Google and plug-in BBQ near me... BubbaQue's BBQ pops up. So I tap the directional icon to try out this particular location in Lakeland. I remember going to one of their other locations and it was awesome. Okay., I arrive here at BubbaQue's. I am ecstatic I stopped by to try'em. The customer service is awesome! Just like there other location I visited. The food! I tell you the succulent juices from the perfectly cooked ribs delay my use of barbecue sauce on them. The melt-in-your-mouth chicken makes a grand statement within itself. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also inviting, contributing to a relaxing dining experience. One dish I highly recommend trying is the Fried Okra—it was delicious!"

"5 stars+! My favorite place to go for great service, great food and a friendly atmosphere! Have been here many many times and food is consistently good. This is the friendliest place I’ve ever been to, whether you’re a regular or stopping in for the first time, they treat you like family. Oscar makes the best wings ever, Ryan, Jessica, Jenna, and Peggy are great. They have such a sunny disposition considering the weather they have put up with under the tent while the restaurant is renovated. And Oscar cooking in the summer heat in their temporary kitchen. Amazing. And never a complaint or a negative vibe. Go there. You will love it!!! Thanks for staying open during your renovations!!!!"

"The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic! My friends and I stopped in on our way home from a girls' trip and were not disappointed. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, with generous portions at affordable prices. The waitress was also very friendly. The only downside was that it was quite cold inside, so we had to run back to the car to grab sweaters before we could comfortably enjoy our meal. I recommend adding coffee and hot chocolate to the menu if the restaurant plans to keep the antique vibe. Despite the chilly dining room, we would definitely return again, just making sure to bring our own sweaters next time! Overall, a great dining experience."

"I waited a few days to write this review as I'm always hesitant to give any business less than 5 stars. My aim is to make management aware of these issues and hopefully we can all have a better experience. The food was very thrown together using poor cuts of meat. I had the pulled pork and the chicken meal with 2 sides. I chose baked beans and greens. The greens were okay but the beans were few and far between. It was basically a bowl of pulled pork with a spoon full of beans. Not good at all. The meat was absolutely sitting in grease all day and tasted just like that. Grease. Both the chicken and the pulled pork. Most of the pulled pork was very hard to chew and the taste was awful. I ate hardly anything and it was quite disappointing."
