"Pretty good and large portions of fish and chips. I actually might like it more than Duke of Perth, which is kinda the go to spot in the area. Fish was very fresh, light, and crispy. I like that they do a large fillet instead of sticks or smaller pieces because the ratio of fish to batter is better, but that often makes it more difficult to fry well so kudos to them. Cheese curds were probably my fav I've tried. Fries were crispy but kinda standard thin fast food style. My cocktail was decent but they had a good selection along with wines that seemed well curated. Very lively and busy on a Friday night but they'll let you do bar seating and service was still attentive. Definitely see why it's so busy for dinner.I noticed afterwards positive reviews about the desserts so I wish they'd asked if we wanted anything or coffee, but next time."

"This place used to be great, but it’s not anymore. I came to get a pick up order, I stood upfront for 10 minutes before anyone greeted or asked if I need help. It was not busy, otherwise I would’ve understood. Then when someone finally came up, she was scrolling on her phone while talking to me. After I told her I had a pick up order, I then waited another 5 minutes for it to be brought out to me. I got home and looked at my food. I had ordered a large chicken Alfredo, but the size I received looked like their regular portion. I had bought a large before, and it was served in a much larger container with a bigger portion. I’m not sure if they have changed this recently. As I was continuing to look at the food, I had ordered and paid for extra sauce, and it looks like there is none. And there was also a hair in my food. I tried to call the restaurant to see if I can get this issue fixed. I called 7 times, and no one picked up. I couldn’t even leave a message because there was no voicemail set up. I’m so disappointed because I really did enjoy the food here. I don’t wanna waste money for expensive food I can’t even eat. I’m going to try and call again tomorrow.Edit: I called again the next day, and got a full refund for my food. The manager who helped me was nice and apologetic."

"Awful experience, server dropped mussels in wine sauce all over the table and on my clothes. What was disappointing was the lack of concern from the server and manager. The server did nothing to clean up the table and actually came out with another dish without worrying about the mess he made. The manager never offered to provide cleaning for my clothes nor did she offer to comp a drink or part of the meal. The manager did try to clean my jacket which was nice of her. I don’t think we will come back as it’s obvious the customer is not a priority. It’s too bad as our dinner and waitress were very good. Very disappointing experience. Manager needs to step up and put the customer first."

"delicious! I love that they have a seasonal menu and their combo options are such a deal when you look at the usual price of eating in la. I had a 1/2 sandwich with suppenkombo 11). I went with her vegan channa masala sandwich, which had a light sweet to him, and the veganaise added it really well. I never had channa masala in a sandwich, but it worked! regarding the suppe, I had the vegan kabocha soup that was buttery and smooth, yum! regarding the ambiente, there is a relaxed, communal atmosphere, with a lot of seating. my man (a omni) and I both enjoyed our meal here, and its always great when we find a place with several decent vegan options. Note: I came back to the breakfast, which is at the weekends from 9 o'clock to 2 o'clock. check their social media, although I don't think that the breakfast menu continues. they can get the breakfast burrito and breakfast plate with vegan options such as tofu scramble and hearty strips of tempo bacon."

"Ordered the filet frittes. The beef had no taste whatsoever, in fact it was a cheap cut of gray matter. The French fries were good, but barely warm. The creamed spinach was decent, but could have been warmer too. This place was NOT worth the money and we only went because of it’s location. We will not be returning. I know many years ago the Palmer House was a wonderful place, but not anymore."

"I was a bit skeptical going to this restaurant because of a couple of negative reviews I read. But I was so pleasantly surprised by every aspect of the experience. The staff couldn't have been friendlier (brought us complimentary appetizers it was my birthday), very attentive without being intrusive, perfectly timed food service and the food was delicious! I had the salmon, others at the table had the chicken and lasagna. we ordered the French bread, too. Everyone loved their meal. Desserts were the panna cotta and bread pudding both good but the bread pudding was the winner. All in all a lovely evening in a beautiful setting. Thank you La Boheme"

"We sat there as they deliberated over seating options for us, like we were some large party making things complicated. I even overheard the other male staff member suggest that we could sit in the booth and finish our meal before the reservation arrived. My issue is that it doesn’t make sense to leave 75% of your tables empty just because you have reservations for an hour later. That’s just bad business. After waiting about ten minutes for them to sort out where we could sit, we decided to leave. We ended up dining at Two Rivers, where we were seated right away and felt welcomed rather than like we were a burden. This is the second time we've encountered this issue with Primo and the host, so we won't be returning. It's essential to train your host better before you lose more customers. "Wonderful ambience and lovely outdoor seating. Great service. Delicious food, not oily, feels healthy, and some of the flavors are unique. Must visit. The waiting time peaks in the day around 1230pm. We had the lentil beet sandwich such was great (5/5), Blueys Breakfast (4/5), and sweet Halloumi, which was a unique dish with the right amount of sweetness only a hint. All ingredients tasted really fresh. The Blueys Breakfast did have one of the best bacon I've had light and crispy."

"I gave a 3 and a 4 in between. the service was nice but slow; we had to go to find someone to finally get our ****. the ambiente was not court-like, but it wasn't raised either. it's like they wanted to make a high mood, but then she blown enough and missed the brand. the coffee is served in diner-style white cups and the latte in glass cups with a lot (too much) foam. we were informed that they were only vultures at the weekends. there was a lot of noise from the road that runs right in front of him and from the parking lot.
