"The same could be said for the plank. The tapenade was overly salty, and the garlic in the hummus was too intense. If you're a huge fan of garlic, this might suit you, but for me, it was off-putting. Having tasted authentic hummus from Lebanese, Jordanian, and Syrian cuisines, this version was quite different. It had chunks of garlic that affected both the texture and gave an unpleasant astringent taste. The pita triangles were small and not soft, and the red pepper was bland and overly oily. I appreciate the effort Jacob made to ensure I had vegan options when I picked up my order. He even got a server on the phone to discuss which items could be made vegan—mostly salads—though they wouldn’t substitute ingredients, only remove dairy, meat, or eggs. He also attempted to get a sorbet dessert that wasn't officially on the menu, but it wasn't ready yet. While the staff is friendly and the restaurant is popular, it falls short in accommodating vegans. In response to your acknowledgment of the issues in my review, it's good to clarify that you're not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant. This is important information for diners. I only realized the problems after getting home since it was late and raining, making it impractical to call for replacements. It's crucial that you ensure the quality of what you serve, particularly for takeout orders. If a dish isn't prepared properly, it shouldn't be sold. I previously credited Jacob for his efforts, so I'm unsure why that point was repeated. When I inquired about 'veganizing' a dish, the server mentioned they could only remove non-vegan items from salads. It would greatly help your customers if you clearly outlined possible substitutions and labeled your menu better for those with dietary restrictions, whether vegan or otherwise. Currently, there are very few suitable options for vegans."

"The hubby asked if I wanted to go somewhere? I said sure, truth be told I was ready for settling in for the night from a long day.I was a trooper got dressed in 20. When we arrived the hostess was a lovely young lady. Got us a table in under 10 minutes with no reservation. We were seated in the back the middle of the space under some heavy light (I’m light sensitive) so we requested a more. No issue there either. Except the waitress though she would inform us of the change in waitress. I really didn’t mind. She was a bit rushed anyway. We got our appetiser which was very savoury, the sangria wasn’t bad but needs some improvements. This where we should’ve stopped and requested the bill. I asked for my tuna to be slightly heated. The issue I had was the rice was cold. Everything felt like it was taken from the refrigerator and put on a plate. My husband had the fish and chips. The fries was like eating fries from McDonald’s and the fish was worst. It was heavily battered, I had my magnifying glass looking for the fish and the amount was as if he begged for it. I said they forgot the other piece. He was not happy to say the least. For that I think he over tipped. See from the pictures and judge for yourself. The next day he said he needed fish and chips because he was disappointed with his meal on Friday. This time we went local and was pleasantly surprised it also cost half the price.Do better! The fake rush thing you wait staff does is unnecessary and quiet frankly rude."

"Came here to celebrate an early Mother 's Day with my mother, sisters, nieces and my infant daughter. The service was odd to say the least. When the server greeted us she said I 'll be helping you ladies and looked directly at my niece and said 'and gentlemen ' to be fair my niece is tomboyish but how embarrassing for her! From there it just got more awkward. The server went on to have a 5 min Q&A with my niece about her college and career plans- it was weird- like she was trying to cover up her gender mistake. It just so happened that they were doing a Kentucky Derby event that day. We were sat on their patio but wish we could have been inside where the ambiance is nicer but it seemed like the priority went to the derby event even though I had reservations, even though we were celebrating and even though the event wasn 't full... The food was ok once we got it. We ordered a couple of poke bowls, Mexican salad, avocado toast, chicken pesto sandwich and pastrami sandwich. Two of the kids wanted to share the pesto sand so the server was going to do a split. She messed it up because the pastrami came out as a split with their side and no pesto came. They sent it back. Meanwhile 5 of the 7 of us had our food. She said she ordered two pastramis and no pesto so it would be out shortly. We waited another 15-20 mins for the sandwiches to come out. If you ordered 2 pastramis how come it wasn 't given? Also during this time we only saw our server once to tell us the mistake and after the food came out. Only had a drink refilled once during the 1.5 hrs there even though glasses were empty. The server was nice and all but the food runners looked miserable. Overall if you are trying to have a nice experience I 'd skip this place."
