"I always order the al carbon street tacos, and they are fantastic! They come with beans only, so I usually get a side of rice. I realize that's a common upselling strategy used by restaurants. The beans are tasty, but I've noticed they now contain a lot of pork fat. The dining area is clean, and the service is quick."

"I came to eat with my husband. beautiful festive atmosphere with indoor and outdoor kitchen. large menu with many choices. we chose the appetizer Mexican pizza, garnelen queensadilla dinner and huh chimichunga meal. eating after my opinion was hit and measured. chips and salsa were good. Mexican pizza was missing cheese and ate very dry. my queensadilla also lacked cheese. there was a minimum amount of liquid cheese on the inside, but as the pizza had nothing to bind it together. the rice was extremely dry and bland. they had a good taste and my man liked the pizza and his chimichunga. the service becomes a thumb high. cannot return, but only because we do not really live in the opposite."

"Just wow. This place really hit the stop. The food was so great. Went here on a whim and I am so glad. Was able to try so many different items on their menu and they were all so good. The tacos, sopes, enchiladas, chile relleno and nachos is what we had. There was so much food we were able to make it into a second meal later. The dessert was a great way to end our meal. Cold ice cream with some fresh churros. Our waitress Vanessa was really friendly and even took us to the back patio area to give us a mini tour. Definitely looked to have that nightlife vibe back there. We will definitely be coming back!! Thanks Vanessa"

"Sometimes people like a restaurant because it's cheap. I prefer a place that offers a good value. I think Linda is a good value because you really good food for the affordable price you pay. I ordered a chickenfajita Taco and Carne asasda taco. Carne guisada also ordered, but my waitress warned me that these were great tacos. And they were. I couldn't have eaten three. Chips, salsa and pico. All for $6 tip. I think the chicken was better than the beef. Taco salsa was excellent. And the chips and salsa were solid, although it is the same salsa that serves every place in Corpus. For $6 this was a really good meal!"

"Enjoyed their happy hour. Service was great. I ordered the Big Jess Burrito with asada and chicken. The burrito is loaded. I can only eat half and I'm a big guy! No need to order side beans and rice. It's in the burrito. A one meat is called the Jess Jr. For you big guys like me, get the Big Jess. You won't be disappointed. Man verses food: the food won!"

"Do not get scrambled eggs here, my kids wouldn't touch them and I don't blame them. Worse than school food. Beans were not seasoned well, the rice had good seasoning but was mush. Just very mediocre food.. not the worst in town but definitely not the best as others have claimed. Just not for us, we like flavor."

"Reading the reviews I thought the food was going to impress. Unfortunately the food was not like many on here have described. The good: the service is super friendly and quick. The bad: the food is flavorless, flour tor I processed flavor (think packed processed flour tortillas). The best part of the puffy tacos was the shell, the ground beef in the tacos wt greasy and under seasoned. The “chilaquiles” were very very untraditional, covered with yellow cheese, dry and flavorless. I would not recommend this place to a friend."

"Located directly on Main Street Broadway, this restaurant offers parking in front as well as on the side streets. The entrance has a small step up, but there is a handle to assist with the entrance. Although I did not see a handicap ramp, the staff is very accommodating. The homemade Mexican breakfast is fantastic, with coffee that never stops flowing. The menu is short and offers breakfast and lunch options that are simple but delicious. Additionally, they serve beer for those who are interested. Overall, it is a great spot for a satisfying meal with friendly service."

"Maybe it was an off night...but we have been looking for a place to make our go-to for Mexican food and had high hopes. Was not busy but the server was distracted and not helpful with our first-timer questions. I ended up with a dish I couldnt eat (after asking to order something sans tomatoes) still got tomato sauce. But by the time she came back to check everyone else was practically done with their dishes. Took it for a lunch for the hubby.The beans were pretty good, and I'd probably just order a bean chalupa if friends wanted to go here. The rest of the dishes ordered were just so-so. Meat was bland and rice dry. Maybe an off day? It would take some major convincing for me to go find out."

I couldn't tell if they don't serve them or if they were just out of ingredients, as they didn’t provide any details. "a grace has shown this to me! I have tried about 6 different Taco shops around our opposite and so far none compare at this location. the tortillas are homemade. - Yeah, but if they need more? my children get speck and ei tacos and they are quite big. after 1 they become full. I tried the Al-American plate and I didn't complain. everything was served fresh and so authentic. ? my niece got the flotta plate and said the rice was phenomenal and the fleets were fried to perfection! I have two fools to rehearse. they have not indicated whether they were pork or bark, but I am positiw that they were pork and were so delicious! I will order a few dozen for the holiday! if they are in the mood for delicious breakfast tacos, then sunrise taquitos is where they must go!"

"Pathetic! Do not go here! The food was decent. The service was horrible, the prices are insane for what you get. I waited 40 minutes (25 of which were after happy hour) to place a drink order. Which no one ever came to get. I had to stop themanager to ask for service. When they finally showed up they just brought the bill. The manager, rather than facing up to themultitude of mistakes told me it was the server's first day. Tried to give me a free cheese dip for my next visit, as if I wouldever go back. I saw that server there 2 weeks before when I swung by for a margarita only. There are so many good choiceswithin a mile of this place. Choose anywhere but here. Pathetic!"

"The one thing that concerned me about this restaurant was the bad coffee and the fish tank at the cashier's desk. The coffee was old and didn’t have any flavor whatsoever, the fish tank on the other hand is just animal abuse at that point. The water is completely brown and the fishes have black spots all over them. This concerns me with how they keep up with their maintenance within the restaurant if they can’t keep up with a fish tank."

"We were on an early summer vacation and stayed in San Antonio for a couple days and was fortunate enough to find this little gem! We ate sooo much for just the right price for a family of 5. It doesn't get better than that, that we returned the following morning for more before heading out to South Padre Island to continue the rest of our summer vacation. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel like a regular. He acknowledges all his customers and makes you feel welcomed. Let's not get started on the amazing food...actually let's, please. Where to start? How about their homemade tortillas that hug nicely any kind of taco you choose to fill it with. My favorite...Papas con chorizo! The Wednesday special of Green Chicken Enchiladas was super delish and Thursday's special of Chilaquiles was just as good. Thank you again for the good eats Don Juan.
