"My review for this place is long overdue! I've been going here for years and it's time I need to write a review on them. Bang for your buck!! This place offers high quality seafood at such an affordable price! My coworkers and I usually walk here for lunch if we want great healthy quality lunch. We also always bring out of state acquaintances here whenever we have them. And everyone always LOVE it here! There are a tons lots of restaurants in this area, and for working here over 10 years, this spot has always been our favorite every since they opened! One of our favorites are the blackened salmon (whether you get it on the kale butternut squash salad) or as your protein on the plate, equally delicious! Not many places can pull off a juicy and flaky top layer, full of flavor blackened fish, but PIER 76 got you! The pieces of salmon always falls off nicely and melts in your mouth! It is so good! It's one of the items you really have to try! I also like their fish and shrimp tacos. The mahi mahi is great too and their lobster roll is also good! By working in the area for a while now, I think I tried almost all of their different kinds of proteins and you really can't go wrong in any of them. If you check in on Yelp, they give you a free lemonade!! Again, BIG BANG for you BUCK! Lots of places take out the free item after you check-in on Yelp after a year after they open but this place has kept it ever since they opened! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're in downtown Long Beach and want reasonably price high quality seafood that won't burn our wallet!"

"I didn't try the larger items on the menu, but the Fish and Chips were excellent. The fried fish was perfectly crispy and had a flavorful spice layer, with no soggy pieces. I requested Cajun flavoring, but it seemed they didn't add any salt in that case, so I recommend specifically asking for it to be Cajun-style with salt. My friend ordered the garlic noodles with seafood, and it was a generous portion filled with plenty of seafood, giving great value for the price. The flavor was also delicious and worth a second try. Interestingly, there weren't many people at the Plaza, even though there are several restaurants nearby; it was quite empty during lunchtime."

"I rarely crave pan roast but when I do, I always go to Ritter's for it. There used to be Kettlebar in Anaheim that would serve pan roast, but I believe they closed and I would've still preferred Ritter's over Kettlebar anyways. The flavor is so good and buttery. It always hits the spot with the amount of flavor and spice my husband and I get spice level 10. Their ratio of pan roast to pieces of protein is perfection and although level 10 spice is their highest, we feel like it could be more spicy that's a preference thing though. He loves getting it with rice and I'm a fan of getting it with pasta. We share one entrée of the house pan roast and would still have leftovers. Maybe it's because we get their apps too. His favorite app is their fried okra with the sauce that comes with it and I really like their seasoned fries. Calamari is good, but it's a mood thing for us and isn't necessary every time we come. We also love the sweet butter that comes with the bread. Service is good and attentive when we're here!"

"I usually don't read other people's reviews because I like to form my own opinions. I discovered Slapfish on a food delivery app and was intrigued by the name. However, when I tried to order, I realized that we couldn't due to a shellfish allergy in our group. So, my partner and I decided to have a child-free date night at One Loudoun and stumbled upon Slapfish. The place was empty when we arrived at 5:15. The food was tasty, the service was so-so, and the place was a bit sticky, as some reviews had mentioned. I enjoyed the chipotle seafood dish, which had a fast-food setup and modern efficiency. I spent $16 on a Ramen, Lobster Grinder, and Shrimp Burrito. The Ramen had lots of sauce but not enough shrimp. The house-made pickles on the side were delicious and fresh. I'd like to go back and try more dishes. The CLOBSTER Grill Cheese Sandwich was the highlight - packed with lobster meat and perfectly toasted. I also recommend trying the Chowder Fries for an extra charge. Overall, Slapfish is like the Chipotle of seafood - not fancy, but worth a try for tasty dishes."

"I found a Pearl, when I found Catch Oyster Bar!!! Weather I come in with friends, or I sit at the bar and meet new ones the CATCH always a great day. Love the Oyster menu, the selection of fresh oysters is the best I have ever seen. Their take on Oysters Rock, and their roasted oysters are both amazing and should not be missed. They make hands down the best fish and chips, ever!! The Tuna bites are another must have. So many amazing items so little time ...... You will have to go back to try them all. Friendly, welcoming staff with a business owner who works in his business. He may take your order, he might make your drink, there is a good chance he even cooked your food. Lets all support nice people providing us a great experience. I can not say enough about Catch Oyster bar, they are a great Catch. This is one of my happy places in the world !!!!"

"I arrived to use a Halloween coupon for $5 off just a few minutes before closing time. As I walked in, I overheard someone in the food prep area angrily exclaiming, “F*ck, come on!” I was taken aback and asked the cashier if the worker was alright. She replied, “We’re about to close, so do you want anything?” It was clear that my late arrival was frustrating them, so I decided to back off and simply wished them a Happy Halloween. "I was in downtown Indianapolis for an event and afterward, I was searching for a place to have dinner on Mass Ave. It was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I’m really glad I decided to give it a try. The service was excellent. I ordered the grilled fish tacos, and I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out three large, generously stuffed tacos. They were absolutely delicious—definitely among the best tacos I've ever had, and I've tried plenty! The fish was cooked to perfection, and although I can’t remember all the toppings, the tacos were so full and juicy that I couldn’t stop eating them. Thank you for a great meal—I will definitely be back!"

"Slapfish is a fish grill that serves wine and beer. I have personally tried about 50% of their menu items and all of them have been excellent. Personal favorites are the clam chowder and the chowder fries !!! They have an excellent happy hour that includes a variety a food items. They have lunch specials, daily special plus the happy hour !!! Its not fast food so it may take an extra few minutes but you will not be disappointed. Staff is very nice and they are more than happy to help or explain any of their menu items. One of the young ladies who works there got up from her lunch break and gave me her personal opinion and breakdown of items I might like to try. A MUST TRY"

"This was the first location I went to before the main location on Post Alley. We just finished eating lunch at Din Tai Fung and I wanted to try this place out since it was next door. I did the 4 cup sampler with New England clam chowder, seafood bisque, Manhattan style chowder, and market chowder. They were all very tasty but my two favorites are New England and seafood bisque. I wished they had more bread though, tastes wonderful with the soups. Bread was soft and fresh. Prices are have gone up but yolo if you’re here on vacation. Plenty of seating."

"We ordered the Swordfish Bits, Crab Cakes, and Fried Calamari. The Fried Calamari was a bit different from what you typically find at most seafood restaurants, but it was cooked perfectly. The Crab Cakes offered a nice twist in terms of seasoning and texture. The Swordfish Bits were a true delight; often, swordfish can be dry at other places, but theirs was just right. We look forward to returning to try their clams."

"I came across a video about this restaurant from 'Insider Food' and I was eager to give it a try. The place is bright and well-maintained. You place your order at the counter, and the staff is more than willing to answer any questions you may have. I was fortunate to visit during happy hour, and I ended up ordering six oysters on the half shell along with the dynamite fries. My friend also had a few oysters and the dynamite roll. The oysters were plump, fresh, and tasted great. The dynamite fries were amazing, and my friend loved the rich buttery flavor of the dynamite roll. I’m definitely interested in returning to sample their uni pasta! There is metered street parking available."
