They are quick to recognize dietary restrictions and ensure that all dishes are prepared in a vegetarian-friendly manner, making appropriate substitutions for their classic recipes.
**Food:** For appetizers, we enjoyed the Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Rice Paper Rolls. Both were delicious, but the sauces made these dishes truly shine. The addition of fresh basil to the rice paper rolls added an aromatic touch that enhanced the overall experience. For our main courses, we tried Drunken Noodles with Tofu, Pad Thai with Tofu, Cashew Vegetable (originally Cashew Chicken), and Basil Fried Rice with Vegetables. Each dish offered comforting, layered Thai flavors that felt authentic. The substitutions made for a delightful meal without compromising the integrity of the dishes. The vegetables remained crisp, and the noodles and rice were perfectly stir-fried.
A note for spice lovers: when you request spicy, they definitely deliver! The heat was spot on, making the meal even more enjoyable. While the tofu was average compared to other Thai restaurants and not quite as crispy as we've experienced elsewhere, the dishes were still satisfying. We felt the fried rice may have had a bit too much oil, but it was still delicious.
We would certainly return for all the dishes we tried, and we suspect their curries would be equally delightful.
**Rating:** 4.5/5. This place is one of the top Thai restaurants in the Schaumburg area, albeit a bit lesser-known compared to others. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the flavors and the attention to customer experience more than make up for them. Highly recommended if you haven’t visited yet; we will definitely be back!"
