"For a $21 Lomo Saltado, I expected more.I got a take out for Lomo Saltado and I’m disappointed at what I got. First the portion for the fries and the rice were HUGE compared to a small container of meat you get. Before I could even finish half of rice and fries, the beef was gone. For the price of $21, you get a small piece of steak what it feels like about 4-5oz and a huge carbo-load of rice and fries. The green sauce has no taste and the spice isn’t just there. Different Peruvian spot at the Westfield mall down the street has a better taste at better price. (Disclosure : the photo is after we were done eating, which is mostly left of juice and the vegetables. The photo represents the size of the container, not the amount of food that was originally in the container."

"Update: Nothing has changed. Ordered online, arrived to pick it up order, and told that they haven't started on my order due to the online order company not calling them. They also said it's not their fault even though it's how you place an online orderthrough their website. I will no longer come here. Ever. The first experience was amazing. We ordered the Jalea de Pescado yMariscos and was delighted with an assortment of flavorful fried seafood. Their salsa criolla was a perfect topping as it wasfull of complimentary flavor. Service was slow but attentive. I could not tell you what else we ordered either because it wasovershadowed by the seafood or it was simply forgettable. Our second visit was all about the service, or lack there of. Wewaited 15 minutes to be seated, in a pretty empty establishment, all while being noticed but ignored. We waited 15 additionalunacknowledged minutes after being seated. We departed after a new set of customers arrived, ordered drinks, received saiddrinks, and placed their dinner orders. They were seated directly across from us. The third visit, about a year or so later,still dreaming of that amazing Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos, was most likely our last visit. In order to avoid their horrendousservice, we placed a takeout order online. Ordering online was pretty easy but the menu lacked pictures and/or enoughdescriptions. Upon arriving I was greeted with disdain as if my presence was annoying and unwanted. I was yelled at, not spokento. After politely asking for my paid for takeout order, they rudely finished packing my items. Jalea de Pescado y Mariscos wasabismal. Salsa de criolla's flavor was overpowered by lemon. The Pollo a la brasa was tasteless compared to the localcompetition. The Tallarines Verdes Con Milanesa tasted of store bought Alfredo and Pesto. Come here at your own risk. Good luck."

"We started with a seafood salad that combined freshly squeezed citrus and olive oil with shrimp, crab, and calamari. It was incredibly fresh and had a delightful, refreshing taste. Next, we enjoyed a salad of baby arugula, dried cranberries, blue cheese crumbles, red onion, candied pecans, and sliced pears, topped with creamy balsamic vinaigrette. This was paired with skirt steak, which was cooked to perfection—again, very fresh and delicious. We also tried grilled Spanish chorizo and shrimp sautéed in garlic and olive oil, served over potatoes, and it was simply wonderful. The menu is small, but the daily specials are enticing. We definitely plan to return!"

"The pictures are not exactly matching the actual appearance in-person. I expected a bit more upscale; the restaurant foundation is beautiful however the furniture decreased the appearance. The customer service was concerning due to taking 2 hours to serve dinner for my birthday celebration of 8 ppl. The waiter could hve been overwhelmed but had poor communication skills. As for food, my Linguini Seafood Pasta was amazing which makes me chuckle based on the above review, however, I was pleased 9/10 along with the Lobster Risotto. The calamari was fried hard. Crunchy. The ceviche was not it! Hve tuna can vibes."

"I politely informed the waitress that I wasn't satisfied with the ceviche, and she was understanding. However, the owner then approached me and asked what was wrong. I reiterated that I didn't like the taste. To my surprise, she told me that in her 15 years of business, she had never received such feedback. When I mentioned that I often enjoyed ceviche at places like Dr. Limon, she suggested that I should go there instead. I chose to ignore her remark and waited for my check. When the bill arrived, I noticed I was charged for half of the ceviche. When I brought this up to the owner, she insisted that since she lost some product, I should at least pay for half. I told her I would only pay for what I had eaten, and she continued to argue with me. Eventually, I paid for just the shrimp and left. As I walked out, I could still hear her loudly saying that I should pay for at least one shrimp. I ignored her and left. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place. And on top of everything, there was a strange smell in the restaurant as well."

"This is the worst aji de gallina I have ever had. The chicken part was incredibly salty to the point where I had to spit out the food and throw it away. When I called to address the issue, they told me they couldn't do anything except apologize because no one else had complained about this dish today. This was terrible customer service, and it is unacceptable to refuse to fix something just because someone else did not complain about the same dish. I regularly eat this dish at other places and have never had it taste so bad."

"This place holds a special place in our hearts. Our boy was born with some complications and was in Children's for a month. "This Latin restaurant is very good. The ambience is very secret. The bathroom is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They make parties and they also separate an area in the room so that your guest feels special and intimate. The seats could use more pillows. The food is always amazing as you can see. The sauces, where very well made and unique in taste. I have no complaints about the food or restaurant. My only concern is when you get service you expect to feel the only people in the restaurant. I used to be a server on a Friidays and I made sure that my males always felt that they had everything they wanted and needed to make their expectation as best as possible to my ability. That day I didn't really feel like that. It took a long time to come to my table to serve me. I'm not an expert, but my opinion is that they only pay a little more attention to customers, no matter how many or the attitude they come with. I'm the quiet guy I'm not saying unless it's necessary. Overall, I appreciate this place as I did because I feel it deserves to be classified as a hole and not held responsible for a person who does not produce good service. This is just a training course from the perfect one. Great place to enjoy a Latin house cooked meal and taste different cuisine and wonderful tasteful dishes there. Great even when placing. I love this place. Give it to try to give your experience. Come hungry because the portions fill."

"This restaurant offers the best service I've experienced in any place on Long Island. The waitstaff is incredibly approachable and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. It's my husband and my favorite spot. "This place is good for what it is. I wish I could give it a 3 1/2. I like the Bandeja a lot. You get a ton of food for a good price. Sausage, meat, eggs, macoroni salad and rice and beans. Its a huge platter. I did not like the arroz con pollo as I found it a little flavorless, however I do think the pupusas are delicious. Besides that I don't think there is anything too special about this place. Some of the items can be a little pricey as well."
