"I purchased an ice cream cake from this store on June 4, 2022. When I served it to my guests, I thought it tasted stale. There was writing on the underneath side of the cardboard the cake was on designating the date it was made and what kind of cake itwas. There was a number written on the bottom of the cardboard that was 2/28 but the number 2 had been written over with anumber 5 to make it look like it was freshly made. I called the customer service line to place a complaint on June 6. When Idid not receive a response, I called again. This time I was asked to send an email with more information. I sent it on June29. I still did not receive any response to either phone calls or my email, so I called once again in July. The customerservice rep who answered my call acknowledged my complaint had been filed, and said that he would check on it. That was almostone month ago, and still no response. Not only was the ice cream cake poor quality, but the customer service complaint line isuseless. I will not go back to that store again, and may not do business with any Carvel store again because they don't seem tocare about how their customers feel about their products and service."
