"I’ve never been to Blaze before, and I felt like the person helping me hadn’t either I asked how to order and I got a mumbled response and was left a bit confused. I eat out a lot and don’t feel like I have issues like this elsewhere, so I don’t *think* it was me. I asked what the vegan options were and got another mumbled response and so I just tried my best to order as I would at MOD pizza. I asked for vegan cheese and some vegan meat crumbles with barbecue sauce (which I assume they have? Hard to tell because their menu doesn’t say! I’m attaching a photo of my pizza which honestly looks so sad. There is no sauce, the crumble wasn’t evenly spread, and funny enough I specifically asked for red bell peppers and the person misheard and gave green ones. People, I’m not being humorous, I’m fairly convinced the person who helped me was in fact blazed themselves. I watched them walk into the wrong door when they were trying to go to the bathroom? The pizza itself wasn’t bad even without sauce! But wow the customer service was quite interesting. The atmosphere was also just not great. Torn seats, lock didn’t work in the bathroom, signs falling all over the place, confusing menu. Additionally, it’s expensive for what it is and they really prevent you from getting too many toppings! MOD Pizza beats Blaze by a landslide! My takeaway is: order online and pickup and save your sanity from having to enter this spot. The food itself is likely pretty good, but the customer service is an experience I still have a good laugh at to this day Updated Review: Okay so I’ve put my theory to the test! I ordered online and did pickup, and it was a MUCH nicer experience. They have a clearly labeled Vegan pizza on their site, it’s tasty, made quickly, etc. The customer experience is consistently poor, and so I’d highly suggest ordering online and reducing interactions with staff. "AMAZING! You absolutely must try the panino; it's a 17-inch sandwich that tastes incredible. The staff is also extremely friendly. However, I need to update my review. Unfortunately, it's become very challenging to get dinner from this restaurant. Their hours are inaccurate, and the staff doesn't seem eager to work. It's disappointing to see such a great restaurant decline. I stopped by 30 minutes before closing due to my work schedule, and even though the open sign was lit, they had already locked up."

"Ordered a large everything pizza and was told an hour. An hour and 10 minutes later I had to call and ask if it was still coming and was told it was out for delivery and would be here any time. 15 minutes later I called back and asked for a little credit since it had been an hour and half and was told no on the credit and it was guaranteed to be fresh and hot. It came 5 to 10 minutes later and it was Luke warm!!!!!!! Very very unhappy and will never order from here again!!!!!!"

"My favorite pizza place! The gluten free crust is awesome! Great salads and do it yourself beverages. Also a small beer and wine bar. And they always carry cider. New flavor with every keg! Nice variety of beer as well. And I did notice that they turned the music down. Good move guys! Vegetarian options: You can build your own pizza creations. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free crust. Make sure to tell them to leave the croutons off the salad if you're on a gluten free diet. Crumbs get everywhere. Parking: Large parking lot. Shared with Vins and other brick and mortar shops. Kid-friendliness: They have some video games, claw machines, etc. Wheelchair accessibility: The place is level with low tables in the front of the restaurant. Wide doors and wide aisles in front. The back is not suitable, due to high tables and booths."

"They were out of iced tea, and there was no other non-sugar option except tap water. I did notify two employees that the tea was out, and they said they'd check on it. This was on a Sunday night, and most of the tables were empty inside the restaurant, so we're not sure what took so long. We've been here before and ordered the same thing on busier nights, with much quicker response. We were a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), and we had ordered wings, a breadstick thing, a salad and a large pizza. The wings and bread came first, within about 10minutes, but the pizza took over 45 min from the time we paid. The salad came last, like 15-20 min AFTER the pizza. My husband and I joked that maybe someone had to call their mom to learn how to make a salad."

"This place has fabulous pizza, but after this last experience we probably won't be back. Put in an online order at 530pm. Showed up at 645pm (was quoted an hour wait after checkout) but we wanted to give them time as it was a two for Tuesday and we knew they would be slammed. Waited in line to get our order and was told it wasn't ready, but would be in 2 minutes. No problem. We waited 25-30 all the while seeing people from the back putting pizzas into the warmer. They never called our name. It was busy, there was a continuous line. I get it. But we waited in line again to ask about our pizza. Oh it's ready. It was one that was put in the warmer 15 minutes ago. Whatever, okay. Then, they forgot our beer. So we asked about it. Lady at the register got huffy (I get it, you're slammed, but we just want what we paid for). She poured the beer but then couldn't find a proper lid?? Had to go find her manager to track down more lids. We wait another 10-15 minutes. As this point we're getting really frustrated. She dumped out the beer she poured originally (why, I don't know), while waiting for her manager to track down more lids. He drops a box behind her and she proceeds to help the next person in line place a new order before going to pour a new beer and finally put the lid on. So all in all for an online pickup order that was quoted to be ready at 630, we waited nearly an hour and didn't get to leave until nearly 745. Sorry, no pizza is worth all that."

"Today was the perfect day for a scenic drive, delicious pizza, and a good book by the lakeside at Waverly Park. I ordered a large Three Meat pizza just as I reached Albany, and it was ready when I arrived. A friendly young woman handed it to me straight out of the warming oven. I also asked for napkins and some Parmesan cheese (which costs 50 cents extra). I found a cozy concrete picnic table in the shade overlooking the beautiful lake and opened the box. There’s nothing quite like the aroma of a hot, fresh pizza to get your mouth watering! The toppings of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon were well-proportioned—not too sparse, but not overloaded either. The cheese was generously applied, though it didn’t quite reach the edge of the crust. The sauce had a pleasantly sweet taste without being overpowering, and the crust was chewy with a buttery texture. The crust alone makes their pizza stand out from the typical offerings you find at major chains like Little Caesars or Domino's. If we had a Pizza Now in Salem, I honestly can’t think of any reason to ever visit those other places again!"

"I wouldn't go so far as to say this was the best vegan pizza I've ever had. But it was decent. The soft, doughy crust was the best part. The staff was helpful in telling us about vegan options. They even make us gulp artichoke hearts for the olives on the Grateful Veg Pizza! Usually places don't do swaps without a fee so that was great. Their menu is clearly labeled with vegan options, and they have Daiya. They load the veg but I thought it was weird how they put the veg on TOP of the cheese. It makes the entire pizza feel dry, plus the veggies fall all over the place. It's a bar, so if you're feeling like vegan pizza and a beer, this place is a good choice."

"Great hole in the wall. I 'm not from the Cincinnati area. Everyone said 'You have to go to LaRosa 's! ', I went and there was absolutely nothing special about it and the sauce was terrible. First time at Snappy 's, people were really nice, got a wave from who I think was the owner as I was leaving. Pizza was easy and inexpensive, just they way your local pizza shop should be. "This is my favorite pizza place for several reasons. First, their pan pizza, which has a Detroit-style twist, is absolutely amazing. Second, they frequently send out weekly discounts that make their pizza more budget-friendly than a frozen option from the grocery store. Honestly, I find their pizza to be more enjoyable than most of the other local places in town. My only complaints are that the app doesn't allow you to save your credit card information, so you have to enter it every time you order. I also tried to do it online, but it didn’t work for me. Not sure what the problem is there. Additionally, while I understand that many of the staff are high school students, a little effort in the customer service department would go a long way. If you’re at the cash register, at least try to smile!"

"I really was scared to give this pizza place a try. I saw the negative reviews and the low rating. I looked at the photos of the pizza and the photos look really good so I gave this place a try. We really enjoyed the pizza and it was fresh and outstanding taste. I ordered a large pepperoni and a large supreme. I wish I would have taken before pictures because I would have shown you how good the pizza looked. But the smell of a pizza was so good. We couldn't wait around anymore ?! "The pizza arrived on time, and the delivery driver was very friendly. At first, I was a bit disappointed with the size; a large pizza is only about 14 inches. However, that disappointment quickly vanished with the first bite. The flavor was outstanding! If the portions were a bit larger, I would have given Snappy five stars."
