"TERRIBLE service! Employees looked directly at us and never offered us any assistance. After about two minutes, my cousin then proceeded to knock for someone's attention just to have a female employee come to the window with an attitude to ask how can she help us, but immediately tell us to wait one minute and walked away before we could even order anything. Mind you there were only two cars outside at the drive through so they can't use that excuse. We ended up going across the street to Taco Bell and the service was excellent compared to this place. They definitely need to work on their customer service."

"My 14-year-old son went to this restaurant and was refused service because the cashier claimed that his card had been rejected on a previous visit. The manager then told him to go to the bank and deposit money or he would never be allowed to eat there again. Additionally, he was told to repay the cash because it belonged to her. When I called the manager to inquire how she could be sure it was my son, given that there are five schools and multiple buildings nearby, she hung up on me. After calling back and mentioning that I contacted the corporate office, she allowed my son to return without paying the money."

"Terrible overall experience ! I ordered 2) 12 piece combination meals and the only thing they got right was the chicken on one order... They forgot my 2) sides of cajun fries, forgot 1) mashed potato side and gravy, forgot 2) frozen lemonades. Gaveme a Rice and Beans that I did not order. I realize high school kids probably work at most fast food places and may often makemistakes, but they messed up my entire order, how is that even possible ? I have the order receipt to prove what I ordered, butI can take pictures of items I did NOT receive ! Also, they would not answer their phone when I tried to call, non stop busysignal, so impossible to sort anything out with them unless you physically drive back up there...:"

"I don 't typically write reviews but this place sincerely needs one. If you are considering going out and getting some of that Famous Louisiana Fried Chicken I would reconsider your options, or just stay home and cook. I 've gone to this unfortunate location many of times over the years to see if it had got better. I was wrong. So very wrong. Aside from the disgusting eroding aesthetics of the place, the staff and the food are egregious. Cold, mushy chicken sandwiches, Emotionless attitudes, and Incorrect orders is what I experience as every time. I understand the struggle, I used to work fast food too. Its not easy but the some of the people working here simply don 't care. My latest I ordered a 10pc spicy tender box and was abruptly cut off when the drive thru cashier announced my order total and told me to come to the window. I wasn 't finished ordering but looking back on it now I thank him. I reinstated my order at the window just to be sure it was right and he said yes. I didn 't check the food because I trusted him. I later got home and the familiar feeling of disappointment and sadness accompanied me. I got thighs, wings, and drums. At the end of the day I guess it was my mistake for thinking it was ok to come here. But don 't say I didn 't warn you :"

"If I could give no stars I would. I asked for shrimp and they said they were out until tomorrow...(not their fault) but wait time was over 28 minutes through the drive thru and when I got to the window....they didn't know what I ordered and then said the wait for my sandwich (all I ordered...A SANDWICH, not even a meal) would take an additional 4 1/2 minutes. That was my entire lunch break. They asked if I had time to wait or refund my money. I took the refund."

"This is the worst Popeyes on earth! They had 10 employees and all of them where worthless! They had the line wrapped around the building. I sat in line from 9:26pm to 10:00pm waiting for a customer door dash only to get to the window and they tell me they don’t have the order somebody else picked up. They were all lying! I called the customer to verify if he received his order. It was time to close and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. Another girl said we don’t have any nuggets made anyway. Just ghetto and very poor customer service! If I could give 0 stars I would."

"This Popeyes location is by far the best I've ever visited. During our year-long travels across the U.S., we stopped at various Popeyes in different states, and while most were decent, this one truly stood out in every way. The food was fresh and served hot. The staff appeared busy yet happy, dressed neatly, and were incredibly friendly. We made a point to speak with the manager to compliment him on the fantastic job he and his team are doing. The only downside is that this location is in a different state. I really wish it were in my town! We do have another Popeyes about 20 miles away, but it’s nothing like this excellent location."

"The pork is a standout dish, so we had to order it again with mashed potatoes and a side of gravy. We prefer to keep our food from getting soggy, so we usually opt for the sauces on the side. The pork is cooked to perfection and pairs beautifully with the flavorful gravy. This time, we also tried the Bavarian onion apple soup, and it was some of the best French onion soup I've ever had! Just a reminder, we don’t like soggy food, so we had the bread served on the side—it was crispy, crunchy, and delicious. We also sampled the potato salad, which can be served hot or cold. We chose it hot, and it was fantastic! If you find yourself in Pompano Beach and are in the mood for a tasty hot meal, you definitely need to check this place out. The lunch prices and daily specials are quite impressive too! We love a good deal!"

"Every time I come here it takes me about 30 to 45 minutes to have my order and leave I do not understand why the walk-up customers are always the last to be served please give me a good explanation on why is this way and not an excuse I love the food but not the wait. I arrived at 2:35 p.m. here it is I placed my order at 2:55 p.m. and here it is 3:10 p.m. still waiting for my food. And when I arrive at home miles away I ordered a large fry and this is what my large fry looks like.... here I am back at checkers I decided to take the drive-thru this time I have been here for 30 and I still have two vehicles in front of me why have they not fix this issue. on 10/19/2020 I returned to checkers to place a order evidently their standards have went down saw two employees with their pants sagging way down to the point to where I could see their undergarments I came to place an order not to be disgusted by that site"

"Black mould or dirt in fountain drink dispenser. I poured a Sprite from the fountain it tasted funny and to my horror it had piece of black floating in it. I told staff and they replied that they had cleaned it that morning. I pressed them and they called manager. Manager poured another drink and it too had black debris that looked like mould floating on top. The manager just repeated that the machine had been cleaned that morning and went about her business! I was appalled I don’t know what I expected but at least shut the machine down and clean it? The manager just ignored my complaint and went back behind the counter they couldn’t have cared less"

"This review is for the girl working at the counter. First time ordering at this location and sadly this is also the most horrible experience I've ever had to deal with when it comes to this fried chicken franchise. The girl asked me if I was here to pick up or order, and was FULLY AWARE I am here to make an order. Only two other people were standing at that time, and they were standing far back. These two kind people still did let me know they were just waiting and gestured for me to go forward. I DID say clearly and nicely to the server that I am here to order when she asked me if I was here to pick up. However, she had the audacity to move over to the next register right away and immediately took the order of someone else now that a few people just entered the store at this point. Are you kidding me? Right after I told you I haven't ordered my food? Unbelievable service. Unbelievably ignorant and disrespectful worker at the front. You are supposed to be going in order, especially when customers already informed you they still have yet to make an order. To the manager and supervisor, whoever needs training you need to provide them more. This huge lack of priority and sense of awareness shown in the disinterested faces at the front who are supposed to be welcoming, fair, and hospital, is abhorrent and sad."

"1st of all— I come to this location frequently because the food was usually always fresh mainly the customer service is always excellent. Not last night. The lady— SHIVANI working the window HAD THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE. They have a 3 for $5 deal. Went to order she says no it’s only thru the appok fine. No big deal. I asked her was a I able to grab it from the drive thru or come inside? She act like she didn’t know what I was saying. Anyhow—I placed my order pull to the window— I explained that it wouldn’t let me select my pieces she tells me the pieces are already set leg, wing thigh). I let her know I don’t eat thighsshe says ok would you like a breast. I say yes please. She comes back to window stating I couldn’t bc it’s more expensive..mind you it was only $1 upcharge. And it doesn’t even reflect that on the receipt) When she could have just led with that instead of telling me what I can’t do? It’s ONE dollar? I say ok then can you just cancel it I’ll order just a regular combo where I can pick my own pieces. She gets rude asf, telling me again what I can can’t do? At this point I’m irritated cause why are you trying to give me a hard time about some damn chicken???? So I told her ok I’ll just cancel it thru the app then she goes or we can just charge you an extra $1 for the breast. Again YOU COULD HAVE LED WITH THAT INSTEAD OF MAKING IT A BIG DEAL? She proceeds to gaslight meI let her know she was being a bit rude. I asked for a manager cause at that point idc to deal with her. She starts getting loud telling me there is no manager there... mind you it was only 8pm. So I start getting loud. I asked her if she was new cause I never seen her at all before she says no she’s been there just never seem working the front or drive thru which makes sense cause her customer service is terrible) I was actually baffled with this experience because I’ve NEVERRRR had a terrible experience like that with this location. "This time we ordered Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen by DoorDash. This time it was actually good, apart from the feeling of being dehydrated, what I think is a norm for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. We ordered a 20 PC mixed with 4 pages and 10 cookies. The mixed chicken was pretty good and hot, although the travel time was about 25 minutes. The cookies taste like those from Louisiana. The frits were a bit cold and dry — the cold is not Popeye's fault, but the dryness, possibly. The potatoes of the mash had a lot of severity, which is not preferred here, but if you prefer it, you should get it. The Coleslaw was quite good first until you are at the bottom of the cup and there is a lot of liquid. Last but not least the macaroni and cheese. It did not look so appetizing – there were a lot of cheese, and it seemed like it was left on the pan for a while. Overall, I would probably order from this place again, just because I wasn't lucky elsewhere. It would be rare."

"I am 32 and I can say NEVER in my life have I gotten large sides from ANY Popeyes location and they were not full to the top. 1st time at the Lucedale location. My dirty rice was half full and my Mashed potatoes was maybe 3/4 full. As a pregnant woman, I was furious to see i was missing half my food! My husband asked for no pickles on his sandwich but they felt he needed them anyway and his side was wrong. After pulling foward and waiting about 10 mins or so, you'd think maybe they would've had things right and made sure our sides were full. Gave 3 stars since it tasted good. I wish I could post pics.
