"My mother had a dentist appointment near Lemon Grove, and as soon as her appointment was over, she wanted to eat at a Del Taco, so I looked for one nearby. We love Del Taco 's food, but this time, it was one of the worst experiences I ever had at a location. The manager in charge wasn 't as friendly as others. 1st- She took our order and did not repeat it to make sure it was correct. 2nd- She did not give me a receipt, nor did she let me know which number I was. 3rd- When my order was ready, it was given to me in take out bags when I asked her that it was for dining there. 4th- As I was eating, I saw that everyone who placed an order repeated the order and given a receipt, at least 3 different people. I don 't like to complain about stuff like that, but I honestly felt like I was treated in a harsher way. I live in Imperial, and the Del Taco that I go is really professional and friendly.....something I did not feel there. Like I said, I don 't like to complain, but I simply wanted to warn you before anyone else have a similar experience there."

"5/5, 100/100. Not a thing out of place. Perfect service, they asked me if I needed help right when I walked in. Accommodated to my modification needs perfectly. They didn’t let my food get stolen(like other places with easy pickup stations) which means they have adequate staffing. Restrooms are kept perfectly clean and well stocked, with even a coat rack and a urinal to prevent mess. Tidy eating areas. Chefs that pay attention and make the order properly.I am not keto but I love that they offer the switch to keto tortillas for free, as they are tastier and prevent me from having constipation from wheat and corn starch.Dietary restrictions: Keto cheese tortillas, very tasty and low carb"

"I love the food! It was so fresh and healthy for a restaurant with many options for those with food sensitivity. But even more amazing was the sweet helpful and super friendly and thoughtful young woman who works behind the register. I never had such a wonderful caregiver help me order! She was patient and understood my daughters food sensitivities. It's like she put herself in my shoes! I wish I remember her name because she deserves an increase! Thanks Rubio for a great experience!"

"This is one of the best spots in Lubbock for ice cream! Their ice cream pies are incredible and perfect for parties. I highly recommend trying the Royal Turtle. Their smoothies are delicious and refreshing too. There's a flavor on the menu for everyone, and they even have mini ice cream cones for your dog! They also offer seasonal and holiday specials. My personal favorites are the chocolate-covered strawberry shake and the pecan pie sundae. However, I was quite disappointed with one special – the strawberry shortcake sundae. I was expecting pound cake, but it turned out to be a biscuit. Why they chose that, I’m not sure!"

"This Jimboy's is by far the best location in the area. If you visit their Roseville or other nearby branches, you'll notice that their portions are significantly smaller—sometimes up to 40% less, especially with items like the three-cheese quesadilla. Here, the food is consistently cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes are generous. The prices are also very reasonable. Instead of using DoorDash for the other locations, I recommend making the drive here. You'll save about $10 and enjoy better, more satisfying meals."

"Let me start off by saying that I have been coming here since it opened. My order of choice is simple and specific. Grilled Chicken Super Nachos with just the melted cheese on the nachos and everything else on the side. I can't tell you how many times they get this wrong! FOR YEARS! Somehow no matter who is working the front counter always has an attitude! Not professional, not caring and wanting you to wait an unusual amount of time for really expensive bland food! Last night was my last draw! Waiting 30 minutes after you told me it would take 12 minutes and OFCOURSE THE ORDER WAS WRONG AGAIN! Then waited another 10 minutes just to get a side of ALREADY cooked chicken and nachos with melted cheese! Yes, I was fully refunded but I will never get that hour back I spent starving to get a simple order. Skip this overpriced, unprofessional cham of a Mexican eatery! Taco truck on Union Street and 5th Avenue is way better for a fraction of the price."

"This will be our one and only visit to this restaurant sadly. We were looking forward to some good steak, but it was not to be. We had 5 PM reservations on New Year’s Eve, and the restaurant was completely empty. However, we were seated in a tight corner next to the only other two people in the entire restaurant. Obviously the couple was super annoyed by this, so we asked the maître d’ if we could be seated elsewhere in the restaurant. They said all the other tables were going to be filled, but we could sit at only one other table, if we promised to be done dining within 90 minutes, which we said would be no problem. We ordered right away, but it took the restaurant over 40 minutes to get us our food, even though the place was completely empty. Our tenderloins were pretty poor quality, and all the side dishes had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The truffle fries were dry and cold, and the iceberg wedge salad was not even iceberg lettuce. It was wilted romaine- pretty gross. With tip, everything came out to slightly over $400 for four people, and we only ordered 2 drinks. It was a truly unremarkable meal, and the kicker in all this was at the restaurant was still mostly empty as we were leaving. The servers seemed new and untrained. Ours dropped plates and silverware, and picked up fallen food with her hands. It was pretty gross to watch. It was New Year’s Eve, as I mentioned, but there was no manager around. There were lots of staff, however, milling around. If this place wants to stay in business, they need to work out these kinks and hire a better head chef."

"I recently ordered take away Maya Taqueria and had the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.The owner of the restaurant is rude and the staff are disorganized and frankly, liars.Over the phone they told me that it would take 15 20 minutes to get my food. I arrived 20 minutes later and it wasn’t ready they gave me no explanation. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked about the food. The person behind the counter said they didn’t have enough steak to complete my order, so I’d have to wait. After 10 more minutes, I went back to the counter to get an eta. The owner came out of nowhere and berated me for “harassing his staff”. I explained that I’d been waiting for 40 minutes and he didn’t relent. Instead, he told me that their printer was broken and my ticket was never processed.I mentioned that the person behind the counter had a different story, which she denied. Frustrated I asked for a refund. The owner said he’d issue my refund but didn’t want me to eat their food or come back. I left and found a much better option. My advice is to steer clear of this establishment. I’d be surprised if they are here next year."

"Tofu Tortas: tofu, oaxacan cheese, avocado, Pickled jalapeño, retried beans and guajillo Mayo. I’ve never tried tofu in a Mexican dish before so this was definitely interesting. The tofu was well marinated and I loved the addition of pickled jalapeño. The bread was soft! I think all the flavors were distinct and I really enjoyed my sandwich. This is a fairly new spot in Clinton Hill and I was impressed. I would love to their other vegan/vegetarian items!!"

"However, I did have one significant concern that impacted my overall impression. The ceilings appeared quite dirty, which unfortunately gave the restaurant a somewhat unclean vibe. It's disappointing because the food and service were great, but management really needs to address the cleanliness of the ceiling panels to improve the atmosphere. I found myself staring at the area around the vents, wondering if those were being serviced or cleaned at all. If they can enhance cleanliness in that regard, I would definitely consider coming back for another meal. For now, I'm giving it a solid four stars, but I believe they can work on these issues and earn another star from me!"

"I prefer Cabo to Chipotle. I don't enjoy either place much because I dislike cilantro, which is in many of their ingredients. The beans are the main part of my meal, and I find that Cabo's beans are much more flavorful than Chipotle's. It's important to note that the pinto beans at Cabo are not vegan. I typically order a salad with romaine, plain white rice without cilantro, and black beans. I top it off with my own vegan sour cream, vegan cheese, and cilantro-free guacamole. Additionally, they offer vegan chorizo. The meal is always satisfying and delicious."

"I was impressed by the variety of ice cream flavors available at this restaurant. They had a good mix of traditional and unique options, although I would have liked to see more peanut butter choices. Although they had run out of waffle cones on the night I visited, I still had a great time overall. The portion sizes were generous and the atmosphere was lively yet welcoming. It was the perfect place to unwind with some tasty ice cream after a day at the beach."

"Cheese nachos and shrimp Diablo burrito. I would give a 3.5 overall. What they lack in, Taqueria el Rancho shines and vice versa. Pros: sauces are incredible. Lots of flavor, and if you like some spice, they got it. Reasonably priced burritos. My friend got a Cali burrito and said the fries were nice and crunchy. Top three favorite Cali burrito experiences for him and being from California, trust me, he 's had his fair share. Cons: Service not so friendly. Tried to call ahead 45 mins before they closed and got the busy line the entire way. When I got there, the phone looked intentionally off the hook and as I was probed why I didn 't call ahead, I mentioned the issue getting through the phone line and got the why didn 't you take the hint vibe. I get it, I worked in the industry for over ten years. But come on, it was quite the window prior to closing. The nachos were no good; overly priced and chips tasted store bought. We ordered with extra cheese which resulted in lumped cheese sections, not evenly distributed. And the styrofoam was melted. Was this microwaved in styrofoam? Yikes. The styrofoam issue around here is for another rant but I don 't recommend eating food from a melted styrofoam box in general. Not cool."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! The Mexican food here is incredibly authentic, and the flavors are outstanding. The quality and portion sizes are impressive, especially considering the low prices. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. It's conveniently located at the corner of Cloud and 9, with plenty of parking available in the two lots. They're doing an amazing job here. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely need to check it out!"

"What a difference employees make!! I had never been to this establishment before so the menu was a little foreign to me. Last week I asked for help getting what I wanted and it just didn't work. This past evening I went again, because I wanted fresh, unadulterated, food. This employee was more than happy to explain anything I didn't understand or couldn't find. My meal was delicious! Thank you!"

"I hadn't been to Rudio's in a while so I decided to try it today for lunch with my mom. While the menu items look great the final meal was a little disappointing. I had the blackened Mahi bowl and the fish was covered in way too much seasoning salt and was almost inedible. My mom had the shrimp bowl and it looked sad, they forgot the guacamole and there was not much else on there. The only upside of the visit was a nice couple ahead of us who gave us a few coupons to use for our meal. Even with the coupon we paid $30 for our meal which seems a bit much for two meals."
