"My friend made it in around 6:55, and we hurried to place our order. Throughout the half-hour we were there, we were approached at least four times by the staff, asking how we were doing and if we needed takeout containers. It felt like they were eager to close up, which made us uncomfortable. There was another table occupied, and one staff member kept mentioning, "I just want to go!" It was clear they were itching to leave for a football-watching party.
When we received our bill and left, they locked the door right behind us. Before we even got out of the parking lot, we saw another car speeding away from the back. My suggestion is that they should have anticipated the football game and discussed closing earlier, ideally stopping seating around 5:30 or 6 PM. The atmosphere was uncomfortable for my friend and me while trying to finish our meal. We would have happily found another place to eat, with or without a TV and the game on."
