"I 've read a lot of bad reviews for this place but that was after I stopped in for dinner. The interior of this place is definitely dated and in need of a renovation. Old diners like this are either cool and retro or not so cool and kind of dirty.This one had a dirty vibe. (The bathroom is gross) The salt and pepper shaker on my table looked like it hadn 't been cleanedsince the 70s. My server was fine, but she was not the friendliest person. She spoke very little ... just took my order anddisappeared for a good half hour. Ironically she was the one that told me the place closes at 7:30 when I walked in at 6:30. Ithought — who cares, I have plenty of time. Little did I know my order wasn 't going to come out for 30 minutes! It felt like Iwas sitting there forever. I finished my water and then asked for a drink when she finally came back 30 minutes later. The dinerwas NOT busy. Maybe 3 other tables had guests. I ordered comfort food — chopped steak with mashed potatoes and corn. It was alarge portion and it was good. The mashed potatoes and gravy had an odd color but everything was tasty. It was the vibe of theplace that put me off. A man came in at one point with the food that he had picked up earlier, screaming about how it wasundercooked. The owner took the food out of the container and handed it back to the cook. I 'm not even sure what it was. It wasjust so off putting, especially NOW after reading so many reviews about that kind of thing. I worried later, about whether Iwould have a stomach ache later and I did not. So overall, my food was very good, the service and atmosphere was odd. Iwouldn 't go back as I would try somewhere else on Austin Street ... and there were tons of places!"

"The staff is incredibly dedicated and makes you feel right at home. The breakfast was fresh and absolutely delicious! I had the Manny Omelette, which included spinach, tomato, and feta cheese—I highly recommend trying it. My wife had the pancakes, paired with the most delicious bacon she has ever tasted. Everything was served with a smile, and even the busboy was attentive to our every need. We’re going back tomorrow! We loved it!"

"I brought my fiance to this diner and we had a great time. The waitress was so nice and our food was perfectly made (see pictures). Vegetarian options: I did not order a vegetarian meal, but there are salads and other options available. They were able to add/remove anything upon request too. Kid-friendliness: As you would expect of other diners in the area, this one is also kid friendly. Parking: Parking lot in the back of restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but only from the front entranceThe back enterance has stairs. Dietary restrictions: They can add/remove upon request."

"Valentino's Bistro is a favorite place of ours to go after Church on Sundays .We went here today and my mother had their Chicken Fingers Salad. Which she had to take over half of it home , because it was so huge .I had the 7 Special, which is any Omelette,(on their list of Omelettes), I like the Meat lovers Omelette,a half Waffle with whipped cream and toast . (I got an English muffin, instead of toast )My boyfriend Stephen had the 1 Special, which is Creamed Chipped beefon top of rye bread,home fries and scrambled eggs with toast .The Wait staff are always very pleasant and efficient.If you have never eaten at Valentino's Bistro you should go and treat yourself to a great meal whatever you decide to order .Their food is always fresh , delicious and well prepared.Bravo to Valentinos Bistro for a Job Well Done.??????"

"came to this hotel after my wedding. Before I came and my wife came into this restaurant and I ordered buffet and she ordered a smoothie. When I sat down and started eating, my wife asked to try a yogurt parafait I had on my teller. my waiter must have seen a falke, because once she saw that she was very aggressive, as if she caught us stealing to tell us that we have to pay for 2 buffets. my wife was very insulted by the way this lady approached. we were for 2 nights and our hotel bill was over $2k, so the buffet price didn't want to kill us. instead of then embarrassing someone when they are a waiter and they see 2 or more ppl eat in and one person gets a buffet and the other person gets nothing, at this time friendly advices that the restaurant has a strict no common policy and if seen, they are asked to pay an additional buffet price. but do not wait until it happened and came with this kind of energy as someone of them steal. not to mention for the price it was very basic food with very simple taste."
