"Avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich with two regular brew coffees came out to $48. Even though that's pretty standard for breakfast in LA these days, I would like for the breakfast to be worthy of the price. I didn't love the brew, and my avocado toast had a very whipped avocado, which kind of changed the taste. I didn't love that either. My friend loves the breakfast sandwich. It's delicious and filling. Last time I got a bagel from their bakery, which I thought would have been fresh, but it was stale and terrible. I do like that they have outdoor seating. I don't like that you can only valet your car and that the time limit is only 1 hour or you will be charged $8. Republique is next door, so I'll be trying that next time for sure."

"I came all the way from Brooklyn Nyc to New Jersey for one of them! They have a variety of bagels that make them daily. You can have done them with everything and yet you can be longing yourself! The service is fast, the staff is pleasant and the food is made fresh on site. If in NJ a bagel sandwich made right, GO HERE!"

"I go here almost every day and haven't gotten sick of it hands down my favorite coffee shop! The James Brown nitro cold brew has risen me from the dead multiple times... All of the employees are so nice/friendly, even when they're clearly so busy. Great group of people. Food is 10/10 too personal favorites are the bacon egg cheese and the Monroe. I swap the bacon for avocado on both sandwiches and they're just as tasty. If you're ever in the area please check it out!! I've driven into Monrovia (30 mins commute for me just to get breakfast here. And make sure you tip your baristas for all of their hard work they deserve it :"

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"Really nice cozy place, and the one thing they have that no one else does, is an extremely good violin player who plays in the outdoor area. I've learned a little violin and this guy is *good* I've lived in San Jose for years now and the violin player here is far and away the best musician you can hear without paying $50 and up for a ticket. Yes, it's a wine bar but if you want your kid to have a good impression of violin-playing, take them to the outdoor patio here when Gabriel the violin player is doing his thing. It goes without saying that the coffee etc are to a high standard also."

"order ahead forgot my pic but there are other pics on here of the vegan standard bfast! it was very good, well seasoned tofu scramble! very good resemblance of vegan sausage patties, yumm and a yummy sourdough toast with veg butter and perfectly crispy hashbrowns!! i made some of it into a bfast sammy it was soooo good. hubby got the bfast burrito that had chili on top and subbed everything to make it vegan, so vegan chz and tofu scramble and added vegan sausage, he really liked it. it was deliciousss, huge good portions. order and they bring it to your table we were rhere around 1 on a sunday and it was packed but it came out so fast, within 10 mins! sweet lady that took our order with a really sweet smile. would definitely come back! "I tried to take my family here for lunch because I was here several times by myself. I'm white and my family is multiracial. I never had a problem when I came here alone. Through his body language, his dirty appearance and his lack of even offering a menu while he helped cheerfully every other customer, the man behind my wife's counter gave a clear mood that she had experienced many times before as a black woman - that she was not welcome. We knew we had to find another restaurant for lunch. My 2 year old daughter was hungry, but we had to go while she cried and cried that she wanted lunch. This man was the first to hurt my two-year-old biracial daughter with his racism. Unfortunately, it won't be the last time, but that doesn't make it less shameful. I'll never come back, and I won't advise anyone with a conscience, either."

Noticebly Different!! Same old Pat 's dont get it mixed up. I couldn 't see a spec of dust in the place, counters sparkling, glass shining, floors you can eat off of, super clean kitchen from where my girl and I were sitting.Most Important, the food was Mind Blowingly Fresh, homemade to order, pot roast special complete w/ soup to salad 2 vegetables and desert included and The BestCorn beef Reuben Ive ever eaten in My Life !!!! Seriously, UnFriggin Believable. I got up from my table to introduce myself to the female owner and she was super nice soft spoken n seemed very humble. The thing I took notice to was her attention in overseeing the running of the Diner. There seemed to be a general level of respect between the staff and owner which is rather rare to witness and feel when youre in a business today. We didn 't feel rushed at all to get the table Turned Over and thoroughly appreciated that. Im taking the time to explain this experience to those of you that are blessed to have taken your time to read it because I think its so very very crucial to our existence to know that there are people and places Still in Existence Today that show up and are of service to other still doing it with Dignity Respect and Honor. I wont do a comparison to the few surrounding diner 's Because I dont need to. "I ordered a chicken panini. I went to take a bite into my sandwich and there was something very hard inside.. It was a huge hunk of hard plastic.. I could have broken a tooth. What I want to know is why a chunk of plastic was inside of my sandwich in thefirst place??!!! Clearly they have food quality issues and no one is paying attention in the kitchen. Who was going to pay formy tooth if it got broken? I certainly would not pay for it. It's not my fault there was plastic in my sandwich. You probablydon't want to eat here. "I had only been to a Goldbergs once It was in Avalon waiting to get my iPhone serviced at Apple Store. We are now picking up our grandson regularly at the nearby Johnson Ferry Baptist Church from school. We have now been to this Goldbergs three times. They seem to be having slowdown issues with their register. The clerks have always had me to have to repeat my order multiple times. Today we got two sandwiches and I told them the condiments on each one. We had to grab it and go and when opened up the package later there were none of the condiments (mustard tomato onions in the sandwiches just meat. Very dry with no condiments. I watched other people directly in front of me have to do the same thing having to repeat their order over and over. Y’all need to get your computer fixed.Feb 2 2023Changing review to 5 stars. Our orders have been correct the last 5 times. Always excellent food. Glad order issues finally corrected."

"Would give 0 if I could. Came in at 11am on Saturday. We were almost the only people in there except the staff and a woman who must work there (but wasn’t working) and was going back and forth behind the counter to make her kid food. We waited 15+ minutes to get cold, gross looking food for $32 so we packed and up left. I’m considering disputing the charge on my credit card it was so bad. Would have talked to staff but there were MIA expect the one talking to the women who worked there and was using the place as her personal kitchen. Will never be back to that, or another, Atlanta bread. Place was also very very very dirty all around."

"On July 8, 2023 at 2:30pm, I decided to dine at this restaurant because it had good reviews on Google. Unfortunately, when I sat down at a table, it was not cleaned properly. It took 15 minutes just to get some water served to me. I had to ask a bartender about my food, which then took over 40 minutes to be served. I even considered leaving to eat somewhere else, as the restaurant was not busy enough to justify such slow service. Surprisingly, when I asked for the check, it arrived in less than 25 seconds. The food was okay, but overall I would not recommend dining here."
