"I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I finally did! I just wish I hadn't waited so long. I ordered a few items from the menu to take home. First, I had the #1 on ciabatta bread, which featured prosciutto, mortadella, Genoa salami, soppressata, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. It was one of the best Italian subs I've ever tasted! Next, I had Grandma Pizza, a thin-crust square pizza topped with olive oil, mozzarella cheese, and sauce. It was equally delicious! I also tried two soups: Pasta Fagioli and chicken soup. Both were tasty! While the Pasta Fagioli wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, it was still really good (Forte's still holds the title for the best Pasta Fagioli). The place was busy, but the staff was wonderful! They even forgot to put my pizza in the oven, and to make up for it, they insisted I take a free dessert. I tried the caramel brownie, and it was fantastic! I will definitely be returning and can't wait to try more of their pizzas, sandwiches, and other dishes!"

"When I order food at a restaurant I generally look at the ingredients and choose accordingly based on my likes or dislikes. When the dish is presented to me by my server I expect the dish to accurately represent what was displayed on the menu. For the most part that was accurately done with exception of one ingredient I was not expecting which will cause me not to return to III Amici ever again. That extra ingredient was tobacco from a patron not even eating on the outdoor porch. I, as a customer should not have to get into a confrontation with another customer based on a restaurant's inadequate rules. The menu should have clearly stated that my seafood salad and my mushroom pasta dish would have had the putrid stench of cigar tobacco in my meal. That was not disclosed on the menu as an ingredient I would be ingesting as I begrudingly ingested with each and every bite. This won't be happening again since cigarettes, cigars and other smoke products are something I do not enjoy ingesting while having my meal. But hey thats just me. If you don't mind ingesting tobacco with your meal than III Amicis restaurant is the restaurant for you."

"Came here to celebrate a Birthday, but was worried because I haven't been here since before Covid. And I was concerned the food and service changed. Well I was concerned over nothing. The food was better than I remember. The waitress was great, after we were seated, they immediatly brought Garlic Knots to the table. The Garlic Knots were so soft it was like eating an out the oven biscuit, with Garlic baked in and garlic oil and Parmesan cheese on top. And they had some tomato spread that went well with it. I could of eaten a dozen of them. But that bread saved us money, because we didnt order appetizers. She ordered Angel Hair Primavera with Chicken. The portion was nice. Definitely food to take home, which was the next day's lunch. I wasn't sure what to get, so I went with their special, Honey-Glazed Half-Chicken over spicey/sweet Brussel Sprouts. I don't know how they cooked the chicken but I was tasting the Honey-Glaze within the meat. It was so good. Not huge fan of Brussel Sprouts, but it was the perfect compliment to the sweetness of the chicken. We enjoyed the meal so much, and glad we got there when we did. Because by the time we noticed the place was very busy. As we ate our meals, we enjoyed watching the other dishes being served. They do a great job with food presentation. But the waitress made the night for us, but definitely for me. Like i said, it was a birthday dinner, and we said that to the waitress as we were seated. When we finsihed and was enjoying the ambiance, without me asking the waitress, she brought over a small cup filled whip cream and a candle and sang Happy Birthday. Again, I didnt ask her to do this, she took it upon herself to do this. It's those small gestures that made the night even better. Love this place."

"The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable either. When I asked a waitress about corn nuggets, she looked at me blankly and said it's just corn in a nugget. I asked for clarification—like, what exactly is a nugget? Is it a chicken nugget? Some kind of sign? They advertise themselves as a medium establishment, but it’s far from that. They serve pizza (which looked awful), biryani (Indian rice), and tzatziki made with mayonnaise—not traditional tzatziki at all. Everything seems to have a strange Jamaican twist, which is very confusing. I will never spend another dollar at this place and would recommend avoiding it at all costs."

"We were very disappointed in this restaurant-food was outstanding, but the service was extremely slow. I would like to say that our waiter was very friendly but it appeared that there were only two in waitstaff with owners filling in. We waited and waited for someone to take our order and finally someone came over. The time in between courses was lengthy. My husband ordered mushroom appetizer that never came(it was not on the bill. It is such a shame, since the food was absolutely delicious! We realize covid has hit the industry very hard, but with so many other choices in Bergen County, this would not be our first choice."

"Was at a party at Forte's and not only was the food delicious, the waiter who looked like he was in charge of the servers, was amazing. One guest had dietary restrictions and this young man was extremely attentive to her needs, although very busy he took time to make sure she was served the correct dishes with a pleasant and friendly attitude. "Some places don’t need reviews so here goes nothing We were so excited to finally try it here $50 later, we came home to a misshaped pie, which looks like they took two halves of slices they had readily available. Very disappointing. The saving grace was that it tastes delicious, I just wish it was fresh. After a 20 minute car ride, there’s no reason it should have been dead. Beyond that, good pie once it was heated up. Unfortunate that it looks like some corners were cut. Margherita pie was very good."

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"I went here for Easter Dinner with my family. We were a large group. It was packed but that's understandable since it was Easter. The place is pretty , nice wall art and a small bar when you walk in. We arrived in time, they seated us 30 mins later. I wasn't too happy about that but again it was a Holiday. WW enjoyed our dinner , they had an Easter menu. You could only order whats in the menu. I ordered Chicken Francese and I wanted spaghetti but the waiter said no it only comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables. However my niece ordered spaghetti and he said ok . So they don't go alittle extra to accommodate you . My only complaint was the service. We had to actually go up to the waiter to ask for tableware or get it ourselves. I believe they booked too many reservations and didn't have enough employees. For the price you pay for food I would like to have been treated better, I'm going to go again but this time not in a holiday and see if it's a better experience"

"So good! We came for lunch and had the prickly pear margaritas, which we added jalapeño to, and they were amazing. Not too sweet and very fresh tasting. Mom had the watermelon slammer and it was very natural fresh squeezed juice. The cocktails were a 10/10 for sure. We then had 6 oysters on the half shell, which were a good value all things considered. Pretty big and delicious. Then we had a cold lobster roll and hot lobster roll, with waffle and regular fries. The bread for the lobster rolls are amazing, and soooo much delicious lobster. The fries were crispy and flavorful. I’m not huge on cole slaw and even that was great. We loved everything we ordered here and will definitely be back! Bonus: we had my chocolate lab with us and we were able to sit on the patio with him."
