"Four of us went to dinner at Sabroso Soro on Saturday night. We weren't all that excited about any of the four entree choices, but we liked the looks of ALL of the tapas choices, so we ordered all of them I think there were 12. Nearly everything was delicious; the vegetable dishes were particularly good perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The only disappointments were the shrimp, which was dull, and the mussels, which were in a sauce that was much too sweet. The octopus was cooked and seasoned perfectly, but the sweet pea puree it was served on was not a great flavor match. We ordered two desserts: the Crema Catalana, which was MUCH more dense than we expected it to be, and the doughnuts, which were fresh out of the fryer and very tasty. The service was VERY prompt if anything, maybe a little too prompt; we would have liked the dishes to come out staggered, rather than nearly all at once. Very convenient location, although parking around City Hall can be a challenge, and the valet is expensive. Try to find street parking or one of the area garages."
