"I stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for restaurants near our Airbnb. The French onion soup and spinach salad were outstanding! Their specialty, the chicken pot pie, was tasty, but I was taken aback by the lack of a bottom crust, and the top crust resembled a large wafer more than a traditional pie crust. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant has a captivating history. The owner was warm and welcoming. If this place were closer to my home, it would surely be a favorite, but I still had a fantastic experience. Everything is homemade, and although we didn't sample any desserts, the selection sounded incredibly tempting."
