"Okay here we go!My wife 's family was visiting from Chicago and we have other members that live in Charlotte and we decided to meet and have lunch at CBG..Online reviews were okay and it was very large and spacious to accommodate a party of ten.Well we arrived at around 3:00, 7 of us walked in to scope out a table and we just stood inside the door while 2 young ladies were busy on their cell phones, they looked up at us and quickly went back to their phones.The place was fairly deserted so it wasn 't as if they were slammed.No Hi welcome to CBG, no acknowledgement at ALL!I have been in the food service business for years and this total lack of being ignored already soured whatever anticipation that I was looking forward to.We secured our own table and got our first round of drinks ourselves.Several wait staff ambled past our booth with not a single one asking if we had been helped.We finally caught the attention of Zack who apologized profusely for the situation.We moved into the larger part of CBG because the booth we were in needed to seat 4 more people.Everyone arrived and service was still spotty..We even contemplated going somewhere else...Once Zack gradually took control the service got better.Food was decent, menu is limited...Pizza, corn dogs, salads and the biggest disappointment came in the form of their $12.00 cheeseburger.I am a retired chef and I am well versed in the FOH/BOH workings of a restaurant.I was elated that I could order it rare..Yay!When the burger hit the table, I was already bummed.It was not the thick slab of ground beef patty I had envisioned but rather 2 very very thin patties cooked just past medium.Add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions and think Micky D 'sJust my opinion.All in all we had a great time catching up and drinking some of the MANY different beers that are on tap...So if you go ask for Zack, he did end up doing a great job.Probably will not go back as a couple but if and when family returns we may consider it, now that we know what to expect.(Oh and on a side note, not sure why but there was more than a few security guards roaming the patio)Parking: Be prepared to walk...."

"We booked this restaurant due to past experience in Providence RI location. We found this location moderately different. Menu was underwhelming with limited options. The service was just ok. Hostess was uninterested and preoccupied after we checked in. Tried to put us at a high top when reservation was for dining area. Dinner came out wrong for my wife and the replacement meal arrived way after I was finished with my dinner. She was unimpressed with the second attempt. We were thinking of trying desert, however we didn’t risk it. Next time in Burlington, we will try a different place."

"Came here with some friends before a Raptors game. My favourite part of this place was the atmosphere. There were so many TVs all around the place, even the bathrooms. I didn't have to worry about missing any part of any game. The service here was great. All the staff members were very friendly and the food came out quickly. We got: Jamaican Beef Patties $16 [ground short rib, brisket, crispy pastry, jerk aioli] I was very surprised by how delicious these were! The beef filling made it like a gourmet patty. Fan Fave Wings $18 ‍[a pound of their signature jumbo wings, marinated in buttermilk and spices, dipped in a crispy coating, and tossed in your choice of sauce] I tried their garlic parm and bbq wings. I loved their wings so much that I wish they had more pieces in there. Mocktail Jr Garden Party $7 [cucumber thai chili lemonade, ginger ale] This was so refreshing and the flavours worked so well together! Overall, I had a lot of fun here. I would definitely come back with friends to watch more games. :"

"Small town rural Ontario does not always have a vast selection of dining choices. I wanted to surprise my daughter for her birthday and take her to a nice casual place for lunch. I found Hickories by accident while searching for restaurants in the Metcalfe area. The menu looked interesting and the golf course location was not too far from her home. We opted to sit in the patioporch area near the big oak tree. We were promptly greeted and ordered drinks before our menu selection. As an appetizer the Wonton Crunchies Duo were an excellent choice however I found the price a little steep. The Asian coriander pork stuffed crunchies were excellent; the buffalo chicken ones were forgettable. My main meal selection was Roast beef au jus with a garden salad. It was pretty good but the beef could have been sliced a little thinner. My daughter chose the Pulled Pork Sammie with a garden salad and she said it was excellent.As a nice surprise after our meal, our server brought us a duo of cakes for dessert: A delicious carrot cake with creamy icing and a chocolate cake; both were complimentary from Hickories and a thoughtful gesture on the part of the restaurant. I would definitely go back again; maybe to try breakfastbrunch next time"

"Our first experience was a good one after the museum hours on Friday evening. High quality menu, professional service and live music made for a nice date. Now Muse only needs patrons! We almost had the space to ourselves. If it gets known, this could be a great downtown restaurant."

"This restaurant is owned and operated by Alterra, the parent company of Steamboat Resort. They also run Four Points/Rendezvous lodges and Routties BBQ, all of which serve mediocre food in small portions at high prices and pay their staff poorly. Expect to pay a premium for low-quality food that likely came from a Sysco truck. The employees here do not seem to care about customer satisfaction or making special orders. The prices are outrageous, such as $9 for a dry pretzel or $10 for a draft domestic light beer. The lack of value for the high cost is disappointing. I regret paying $19 for my child's small and cold burger. After waiting months to write this review, I am still upset about the unacceptable prices and poor quality. I will not be returning to any of the resort-owned properties. It is a lose-lose situation for both customers and employees."

"Mile End is one of our favorite restaurants in Boerum Hill and is always an enjoyable time strong recommend. The matzo ball soup, corned beef reuben, and smaller noshes (cucumber salad, potato salad) are consistently strong and make for a great lunch. The staff in general are cheerful, helpful, and attentive. We almost always feel very welcome there. I say “almost” because there is one gentleman in the front of house who is inexplicably angry and rude, almost every time we go. One time another server sat us in a booth and he went out of his way to make us get up (the booth was just left empty when we left). Another time we walked in to ask for a table and he angrily told us he had already said there would be a wait (we had literally just walked in the door). I assume he’s an owner since I can’t imagine a business keeping someone this hostile to guests around, but it’s also possible this is somehow part of a quirky charm that is just lost on us. Will always come back. Will bring friends and loved ones. Would definitely recommend avoiding the furious dude with white hair who is determined to treat you like garbage."

"The pizza was good. Service was extremely slow even though I had ordered an hour prior I still ended up waiting 1 1/2 hrs. The young ladies on the wait staff were doing their absolute best in a stressful situation. There were several customers that were visibly upset with the wait and it clearly messed with the gals trying to help. Under the circumstances I don't blame them at all. They can't make anything cook faster. Parking: I'd like to tell the young ladies at the pick up counter thank you for trying and keeping calm even when others were getting snotty. Especially the little gal that helped the elderly lady when she asked to order something to go."

"My fiancé ordered a flight of beers, but when they were brought out, the waitress couldn’t identify which was which. She promised to return shortly with that information but didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. We had already finished the beers by the time she returned and had to make a guess about which was which. I don’t like to complain, and the food was decent—nothing extraordinary. The waitress was friendly, but it seems she just lacks experience with serving beer. Overall, I felt the experience was a bit overpriced for what we received."

"We ate here with our kids and had a nice meal. Children had a buffet for them that worked out great and. Ore high-end restaurants should obey this call. $ 15 apiece, but lots of options kids love, plus desserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a little over the top and tasteless. My wife had the fillet that was served over a zucchini and pumpkin tomato vegetable which really didn't go very well with it. Read reviews and told page of Russell sprouts got roasted but they arrived steamed and tasteless again. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. We ate at the Pacific Grille the night before and the food was much tastier."

"I was one of two of our party of five that got to RBG first. While being sat, the hostess let us know that a server would be right over. Our friends were running about a half hour behind, but we were still excited to grab a drink and appetizer before they made it. After 20 minutes of seeing multiple employees on their phones inside and 3-4 at the hostess stand and not being greeted, I returned to the host stand to confirm if our table outside was full service or bar since we hadn’t seen anyone come out. The hostess got very nasty and said “I thought you would want to wait for the rest of your party.” When notifying our server, we overheard the hostess say our server, “go luck, they’re going to be hard ones.” Once we were very pleasantly greeted, we had a wonderful evening enjoying the great food and drinks with really great service from Elizabeth. We were only left wondering why someone with such a sour attitude is the first person guests encounter when coming to such a fun spot."

"We were vacationing in the Black Hills and this place was recommend by our Hotel. We grabbed lunch here before our flight back home. The place was pretty busy and we had about a 20 minute wait which we were advised of and were ok with. Once we were seated, some time did pass before our server greeted us. Our server however was apologetic of the wait for being busy and was very nice and took care of all our request. Our drinks and food did come out in a timely manor once ordered. I had the taco trio and my wife had a pizza. The tacos were very good and flavorful however I found the corn tortillas to be very tough and chewy as if they were sitting out awhile. The pizza was very good. If I ever return I would go for the pizza option."

"Note: This experience was via DoorDash.My wife and I dont splurge on DoorDash much anymore, but we were so stressed this past week we decided to indulge. I have a gluten issue so I had to scour DoorDash for places with gluten free options. I stumbled upon Burgerology which I felt was fate since someone was talking to me and mentioned it this past week. Kinda pricey, but I know food everywhere is plus the DD fees.I ordered for myself, my wife, and my daughter. For me I got a medium rare cheeseburger on a gluten free bun, cheddar cheese, onions. I asked for honey mustard on the side. My wife got a medium rare cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, cheddar cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. My daughter got chicken fingers and honey mustard on the side.The food got here and it was a huge disappointment. It was all wrong. They had switched all the ingredients on my wife's burger and mine, which is further an issue due to my gluten allergy. Not only that, but they forgot my onions. She bit into what she thought was her burger at first and it was way overcooked. That's when we realized something was off and realized the ingrdients were all wrong. I also didn't get my honey mustard, nor did my daughter. On top of it, I tried a regular fry from my wifes food and it tasted burnt.I called the restaurant and the girl was very apologetic. She said that sometimes DoorDash orders come in wrong. I've never had this issue with any restaurant and we've used DoorDash for years.Luckily I was able to get a refund from DoorDash."

"We had a disappointing experience with the food from this restaurant. We ordered four pizzas, including a Margherita, and I can't believe that particular pizza was actually sold to someone. I wish I had taken a picture to show you. It had a crust with just a thin layer of sauce, barely any mozzarella, and dried-up basil. I've seen many positive reviews, so perhaps we just had a bad experience, but the pizza was really not good. On a positive note, the crust was decent, and the person who took our order over the phone was very polite."

"It was a nice restaurant. We made reservations for Friday, December 31st at 5:30 pm. It was a bit empty when we arrived, but by 6:00 pm, more people started to come in. When we left at 6:45 pm, the place was almost full. The front host was very professional and friendly, seating us at our preferred table. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as heaters for when it's cold. It's a great place for groups, couples, and solo diners. They have a great bar with a variety of drinks and beers to choose from. The prices for the dishes were a bit high for the portion sizes, but the food was delicious. The starters and dessert were particularly good. There are plenty of parking spots available, so no need to worry about that. I recommend making reservations in advance whenever possible."

"I don't think I would bother to reserve a table at the theatre restaurant before a movie again after the experience I had here. Watching one staff member freak out at other staff members and having our drinks take forever was not worth what we paid. Just an uncomfortable experience where everyone seemed unhappy to be doing their job. We also had to ask for our popcorn and drinks in our theatre seats because the movie had already started and no one had delivered anything to us. Overal the VIP theatre experience is a unique treat, but I recommend going to a different restaurant and buying your own snacks prior to going into the theatre. They should stick to just showing movies because they don't know how to provide proper customer service to people when it comes to the foodservice industry."

"Wifey and I went there to meet her sister on Thursday 8/10/2023 . The waitress was amazing and had a cool had getting prepped for a Yacht Rock party! She was super nice, helpful and fast all at the same time. She always checked on us at the right times and made the experience a great one, we definitely recommend and will go back.We ordered the buffalo tots and this is a must have, the goat cheese fried things were good, could have been seasoned better but the sauce it came with paired very nicely. Wifeys sister ordered the chicken sandwich which she said was really good, over cooked a little bit very tasteful! I feel this place is a hidden gem but a little pricey. We had 3 beers total and the food mentioned and the bill was $80 before tip. The chicken sandwich was like $18 and that seemed a little over priced. Still overall really good!!!!The breakfast menu looked really good too."
