"I have to be honest and say that Port of Subs is just... okay. I tried the BBQ chicken hot sub, and while it was satisfactory, it didn't stand out in any way. The chicken was fine, but the whole sandwich was quite bland. The service was a bit frustrating, and the staff seemed to lack initiative. My mom finished her sandwich before mine was ready, and when we went to pay, they mistakenly thought her sandwich was an online order and didn’t even give it to her. After only eating half of my 12-inch sub, we decided to try a double chocolate cookie. Unfortunately, it was stale and didn't have the rich chocolate flavor we were hoping for. This review might not even seem significant, but I wanted to share my experience. I wouldn't strongly recommend going or avoiding it—if you're looking for a meal, it will do the job!"

"okay dude. i'm not usually a karen. i don't have much to complain about. in fact i usually love port of subs, it's my fav. but. i'm wondering how long there's been a bug issue for. i almost ate a big ass moth that was dead in between the pieces of spinach on my sandwich a little bit ago. and that pretty much sent me. i already wasn't feeling good today. now i probably won't go back for a while. sorry to say that, but yeah. first half of the sandwich was great. glad i looked at the next half before biting into it. hope this was the only one and that i didn't accidentally eat another one or something. kinda gross. i went back right away to show them and they offered to make me a new one. i didn't want it. they gave me my money back for the half i didn't eat."

"We typically order from this restaurant two to three times each month. Over time, we've seen various staff members come and go—some departures were disappointing, while we were relieved to see others leave. However, our visit tonight was by far the worst we've experienced in a long time. Catalina was the one preparing our sandwiches, and from the moment we entered, it was clear she was in a bad mood. Even her coworker seemed uneasy around her. Unfortunately, in California, servers with poor attitudes still earn around $20 an hour. If I could find the contact information for the franchise owner, I would share our entire experience. I'm not sure if Athena still works there, but she exemplifies what a great employee should be."

"Fast, friendly, quality food, and great prices. This is one of my preferred places for lunch. The staff is really amazing. They are nice, funny, and overall caring of their customers. Come here often and they will remember your usual order, your name, and remind you if you forgot something when your about to check out, usually always tell me I forgot my usual bag of chips or soda when I forget. I love love love the quality food. Give them a look you won't go wrong!!!"

"Overall, it was a good experience. I ordered the Caesar chicken box, and it was quite tasty. The place reminds me of Subway, though they operate differently. The interior was clean and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly. The prices were a bit higher than I anticipated, but the quality of the food made it worth it. Just a heads up: there are no public restrooms, so plan accordingly. They do wear masks and have arranged the tables for social distancing."

"Overall I really like Port of Subs. The staff is usually really friendly and the sandwiches are really good. For less than $10 you get a super packed sandwich which for me, lasts for two meals. My only complaints are when I order online, my order is consistently wrong and/or not ready. I order online to avoid the long lines and reduce my exposure in the restaurant, but time and time again they make it wrong or they haven't even made it despite me always giving them an hour before I pick it up. I know places are short staffed and the lunch hour is busy, but please be more mindful. I order the vegetarian which comes with avocado and I always say no avocado on my order and more often than not they slather on the avocado making it impossible to wipe off because it's saturated the bread and ruins the mustard/mayo combo. Then there's random vegetables added that I didn't want. Usually I can just pick those off but I really shouldn't have to when the exact order is printed on the ticket for them to reference. If you have time to wait in line for your sandwich to insure it is made correctly, do so. They are absolutely delicious. If you order online, best of luck."

"Feels like I have been ripped off because I bought a groupon and still paid the same even if I didn?t buy one. Hmmm. So my total was $24 and the Groupon was for $20. So shouldn?t I be paying only $4 then. Well he charged me $13. I?m still confused. I bought a 24 inch sub number 1. I also got a 8 inch number 4. I added mayo, tomatoes, lettuce, salt pepper, oregano oil vinegar to all the sandwiches. On mine I also added spinach, banana peppers, onions. The sandwiches were good and filling. They don?t mess around they stuff that sandwich. Also they slice the meat when you order. Don?t even bother getting a Groupon. They have some chairs and tables outside."

"Today I had a terrible day. I went into the load with an angry look at my face. the girl with the pretty nails that made my order was very sweet and cautious in making 2 very tidy sandwiches. I think her nametag said, sam she asked me after my day and had friendly words for me. she was also very nice to the mother and son party before me. I felt much better. it deserves to be recognized for their efforts. 10/30/2021"

"Great tasting but a sad pathetic little sub. More bread than anything else. Had free coupon for a meal and asked for extra cheese, they wanted to charge extra EVEN THOUGH I did not take the free pop or chips. Really? Then made a remark ?fine, no charge for cheese, but now my systems gonna be messed up?. Do you think they are losing when I wanted extra cheese at $1.36 versus them keeping the $3.29 in chips and pop I didn?t take? Since it was tasty, I?ll give another location a try. Gave 3 stars because I felt bad reading all the bad reviews and would like to see a small business owner be successful!"

"The employee at Port of Subs really needs additional training on how to make sub sandwiches. I've noticed on several occasions that when she's working, my sandwiches aren't being wrapped properly, which causes the contents to spill out and not be fully covered. Additionally, she doesn't lay down the paper first before preparing my sandwich. I wish the other male worker were back!"

"I visited this place today. the service was good, but the sandwiches were not. if it wasn't for the service, I would have given this place 1 star. we had a broth, salat and pimple sandwich in the round, because there was very little flesh on them. we could hardly see the meat and not taste it at all. we had to scrub them and go to jimmy john’s. it was too late to return the sandwiches because was closed at the time we came to home port of subs. I usually go to port of subs for my sandwiches because they usually put a good part meat on them. I guess because of the inflation there must be a lack of meat in port of subs. I can look for another location in the future, but until then I will stay with jimmy john’s or subway."
