"Best Wings in the area. Like several others, I happened to be watching the Phantom Gourmet one morning, and saw the review for Sparky 's Wings Things in Haverhill. Like most, when they started talking about the Wicked PB J wings, my first reaction was 'Can that really be that good '<br <br Being a wing fanatic and it being football season, I just had to check this place out on the web and see what they had to offer besides these gimmick wings. They had over 20 different varieties listed on their menu with some unique flavor combinations. After drooling over the menu for about 15 mins, called and placed my order for some Trouble Wings (listed as a step spicier than a normal buffalo wing), Aloha Wings (Sweet n Sour with Pineapples), and of course the Wicked PB J Wings. <br <br Upon arrival to the location, Sparky 's a little hole in the wall joint, with a couple tables nothing fancy, but clean. While waiting to pick up my order, noticed there were other wing flavors not listed on their on line menu. Berried Treasure (Chipotle with Raspberry Jelly) and Ghost Rider (made from the Ghost Pepper), plus side order item called M 80 's (Habanero Pepper with a cream cheese and Chorizo sausage filling). I just had to try the M 80 's so added 2 orders to my wings. When I tell you these M 80 's have a kick, that is an understatement. Granted, I love heat and these poppers more than fit the bill. I made the mistake of eating my first one as soon as I got into the car, I immediately began to sweat, started hiccupping, eyes watering these poppers we incredible. My first thought was 'wait to I get these to my friends house and let them try one ' Once you are ready for the level of heat, these poppers put all others to shame.<br <br At my buddy 's place, I start to unpack the wings, each package of wings had blue cheese ranch dressing, celery and carrots (which were fresh and still had a nice snap to them) and a small side of macaroni salad. The wings were juicy and tender with that nice crispy skin exterior. The first wings I had to try were these PB J 's that had drawn me in. The 'peanut butter ' is a Peanut Satay sauce with great flavor and they have a drizzle of grape jelly over them. The taste was amazing they were an instant hit. The rest of the wings were just as delicious.<br <br Since then, I have been to Sparky 's over a dozen times, trying several other styles of wings. Their wings are always flavorful, juicy and amazing. You cannot go wrong. During the Superbowl, I had called the day before to place my order as I expected them to be busy which was a great call. When I arrived at the time I had stated I would be there the next day, my order was just finishing up and ready for me. However, I learned that they had already sold out of the bone in wings (sold over 10,000 wings) and learned that they use only fresh wings, not frozen. Just another reason why Sparky 's Wings are better than any others in the area. Some of the favorites are the PB J, Berried Treasured, Trouble Wings, and the Tuscan Wings (Garlic Parm wings with a Basalmic Vinegar Glaze).
