"Food was delicious! My husband had elk and I had sushi. The service was great. Nick was our server and the bartender. He was fantastic! We had a wonderful booth in the bar. Apparently one of the owners likes to do business in the back booth instead of the office. Totally killed the atmosphere with his F-bombs on a telephone call. (Phone calls in a restaurant are not acceptable anyway but if it’s your own business....? whatever... go for the Elk, for sure!"

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"I was disappointed to find that the crispy roll only came with chicken, despite the menu stating it could also be made with pork, buckwheat, or tofu. They also didn’t have the goat salad available. The menu definitely needed updating. Additionally, the restaurant could have used at least 30 more chairs, and someone with better organizational skills, as the entire scene was quite chaotic. It felt like the customers were running the place, and no one was stepping up to address the issues. Given the experience, I probably won’t be visiting this restaurant again."

"This restaurant is incredible! It's a cozy little spot with just a few tables and a small menu that changes daily. If you're a fan of grilled chicken, beef, or shrimp, this place is definitely for you. Since I discovered it four months ago, I've been dining there at least once a week. My favorite dish is the steak shrimp teriyaki wrap, which includes steak, shrimp, squash, zucchini, cheese, and teriyaki sauce. It’s absolutely delicious! Their mashed potatoes are fantastic, and their yuca fritters are equally amazing. So good!"
