"The experience was excellent, with Kelly providing exceptional service as our waitress. She ensured that all of my food preferences were met without any issues. The food arrived promptly, within about 10 minutes, and was both delicious and served hot. The staff accommodated our seating preferences without any fuss, which was greatly appreciated. "However, the service left much to be desired and was quite disappointing. When my family arrived, we were simply stared at with no guidance. I had no idea whether to seat ourselves or wait for someone to show us to a table. After proactively asking about whether we should seat ourselves, I started to head toward an open area, only to be abruptly told that it was closed off. Again, how was I supposed to know? The staff seemed understaffed, and the two employees we interacted with appeared to be disengaged and uninterested in providing a good experience."

"Anthony our server seemed overwhelmed , things were extremely slow from beginning to end. We had reservations and felt rushed at the end to leave by for the concert since everything dragged out all night long, we asked for our check when the dinners were delivered to help speed up things. Not sure how much was the servers fault or the bar/kitchen staff for the slow service. I picked M&S for us based on reputation and prior dining there years ago. I will give other restaurants a chance the next time I go downtown for dinner. Never saw a manager all night walking around checking things on the floor"

"We loved this place! I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Unfortunately we went on a rainy night, so we couldn't sit on their beautiful patio. There was a 3 piece band playing in the bar area. They were playing James Taylor kind of music and were really good. We sat in the main dining room but could hear them at a great volume during our entire meal. We had some wonderful salads to start. I had salmon for an entree and it was so good. The hash it came served on was full of great vegetables. At our table we also had lettuce wraps, fried oysters, and a Caesar salad modified with a huge amount of grilled chicken. They had an extensive wine list. The dining room had a warm vibe to it, which we loved. Our server Betsy was super friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend going!"

"This was quite the feast! We ordered the Thanksgiving meal that was offered, and it was outstanding. The turkey was moist, the stuffing was delicious, mashed potatoes were perfect, and the mashed sweet potatoes with honey were fabulous! They really hit it out of the park. This was probably the best Thanksgiving meal we’ve ever had in a restaurant. And our server, Jessica, was super. She was so kind and welcoming. She helped us choose a bottle of red wine, and highly recommended the pumpkin cheesecake, which was delicious. The place was packed with happy people and the manager strolled around to make sure everything was going smoothly. Everyone was one top of it. We had a really great celebration. We can’t wait to go back next year."

"Excellent in every way: greeted personally at the front door, and later by servers at our table, who were not assigned to us very friendly. The food was excellent. The kitchen made accommodations for my food allergies. They recognized our anniversary with a special dessert. I appreciated the air conditioning was not turned up so high you had to wear a coat."

"However, when I got home, I discovered that the soup I ordered was very small and the container was damaged. The pie I ordered was completely melted and the potatoes had gravy despite us requesting them without. When I called to address these issues, I was told that the soup portion was correct and they could not refund the melted pie since I ordered online. They offered to replace it, but I would have to return to the store. The most concerning part was when my sick boyfriend tried to eat the soup I got for him and the container exploded, making a mess. Not only was the portion small and expensive, but the container was also not sturdy. The only reason I didn't give a 1-star rating is because the muffins were delicious and the young girl who helped me was pleasant. Unfortunately, the older woman I spoke to on the phone was unhelpful and lacked empathy."

"We have given this restaurant repeat business over the years despite some of their imperfections. My family and I had a very poor experience here today and it marks the last time we will give this restaurant another chance. First of all, it is impossible to get a booth even in the early 4 o’clock hour WITH RESERVATIONS and even though several or all booths are unoccupied the hostess will always repeat the same line that the booths are reserved for other parties. Once we were told we would need to be done eating in one hour if we wanted to sit in a booth. On many occasions the booths remained unoccupied even when we are done with our meal! Today when we were told yet again that the EMPTY BOOTHS were not available, we agreed to be seated on the patio. After we were seated for a while, another party was seated next to us and demanded that all of the heat lamps be turned up high which made the enclosed patio much too hot. We made several staff members and our server aware of this but it apparently didn’t matter that we were uncomfortable AND we were not offered other accommodations. Then it was loudly announced by the server for the demanding party that they were receiving a free appetizer. It was astoundingly obvious that preferential treatment was being given to one party over other parties. We spoke to BRITTANY the manager about the overheating problem but she responded with a condescending smirk and essentially made it clear she didn’t care. We are easygoing customers, we are typically in and out quickly, and we always leave a generous tip for our servers. But after this awful experience, this restaurant has lost our repeat business for good."

"beautiful place to enjoy the night after dolphin tour nextdoor. after the last dolphin tour we have starved and found this place for a delicious seafood dinner. they are very busy during the early break week, outdoor seating are almost full while only few people choose indoor seating. seafood is cooked in American transition style, roasted oysters, mush, scallops and steamed garnels, French fries are always welcomed. child menu is also good, besides traditional makkaroni and huh nuggets options, can order species like adult for snow crabbon. very good experience for adults and children."

But my recent visit there reminded me what a great restaurant it is. The abbreviated menu included good choice of seafood and of course steak, as well as entree salads, and soups. Service was impeccable, and the ambiance was just as relaxing and enjoyable as ever I recommend Capital Grille, because of its superb management strongly. Going there was like running into a long lost friend after a long time"

"My husband and I stopped with our two children on the way home from Butler last week. The service was great (Skylar was our waiter) and the food was wonderful. My 3 1/2 year old daughter left her beloved little pony at the stand where we ate. I called when my daughter realized that she was missing (we were over an hour away at this point, we don't live in the area). Skylar answered the phone and he said they had the pony. They sent their little pony to our address and wouldn't even have money for Porto. We got the pony a few days later and my daughter will be grateful forever! So not only was our service and food great, they were very friendly and generous about the return of my daughters toys! Thank you."

"We dined here twice during our vacation, once on the way there and again on the way back. The chicken and dumplings were incredibly delicious, and I ordered it both times. My husband tried the baked steak and said it was excellent as well. The rolls were also quite enjoyable. The portions were generous, and the mashed potatoes were made from scratch. "UPDATE 2/26/22 1st Experience was 5 star, 2nd was 4 star, last experience was 1 star! Updated review: For the price of an expensive steakhouse you expect excellent customer service and that was the opposite of our experience. The server was fine but the hostess was rude and the manager was downright combative. When we calmly explained our dissatisfaction he just argued with us and said how wrong we were. This person repeatedly lied to us then eventually walked away. No empathy, no apology, even if we were wrong (which I don't think we were) he could have handled it with class and compassion. Instead we were made to feel much worse. We left the restaurant feeling just terrible. The absolute worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. And I don't normally complain but this manager, named George, was so defensive and rude we just have to let other diners know. There is a very real possibility you will be mistreated as we were. And certainly don't expect any special customer service, even if the bill averages around $100/person. And for an expensive restaurant... what a shame. The food is massively overpriced for what you get. So many better options in the area. I would never go back here and definitely do not recommend. Original review: Legit steakhouse. Expect to pay about $100/per person. That said, everything was delicious from the drinks to the steaks! If you live steak and want to treat yourself, this is a great option. Service is top notch as well. Looking forward to returning."
