"We have been visiting Papi's for over seven years, and it has always been our go-to spot for delicious, perfectly seasoned, authentic Cuban food. However, over the past three years, we've noticed some changes in the seasonings, staff, and overall atmosphere. The meats now taste bland, and the portion sizes have decreased. I often receive cold, greasy fries with my Cuban sandwich, which used to be great but is now just good. The empanadas are always enjoyable, but the salad dressing tends to taste watered down, as if they are trying to stretch it out. Maybe we’ve been coming in during off times — I’m not quite sure. I truly hope they can restore the rich, authentic flavors of Cuban cuisine to their dishes! I understand that restaurants need to appeal to a wide audience, but when you visit a place like this, you're looking for a culinary experience that transports your taste buds and celebrates the culture. We plan to return, although not immediately. Hopefully, within the year, we'll have a better experience."
