"Our server, Danny, was attentive and friendly. The chef, Kimmy, put on a great show, cracking jokes and engaging us as he expertly tossed cucumber squares. I had hoped to catch some cooking sake like you see on TV, but that didn’t happen—probably for safety reasons since there were younger guests around. My filet mignon was seasoned perfectly and cooked rare as I requested; it was fantastic.
After the show, however, I felt a bit rushed to finish my meal as the takeout containers arrived promptly. I understand the need for high turnover, but it felt a bit rushed for my liking. I noticed the manager, Santino, helping another table that was having trouble with their griddle, and he made sure we were happy with our experience too. I look forward to returning with my girlfriend in a few months, hoping for a more leisurely meal and better sake options."
