"We try our best to give this place a chance after constant bad service. It 's close to our house, but honestly I will never support this restaurant again. I just called to place an order for delivery, 2 tortas and 2 drinks, then the woman tells me that we are blocked from getting food delivered. And I 'm so confused and ask her why? She proceeds to tell me there 's a note that states we made a big order and dejan la comida . As in we didn 't collect our food/left it behind. I 'm seriously so tired of their attitude, we have never ordered more than 2 things and wepick up our food most of the time, and almost every single time these women working there have such a stank attitude. Most of the time it 's the night shift women we have issues with. The only time we ever canceled an order was almost 2years ago.. we were coming back from from trip and ordered a bunch of tacos and drinks, I asked the woman how long it would take, she told me 30 mins. We got home and an hour passed by and we didn 't get our food. We live 5mins away so Icalled and asked why it was taking so long and we can just pick it up if the delivery guy was busy. This was in the evening and the woman got annoyed and yelled at me saying they were super busy and it was going to take a while. It wasabout 1hr and and half since we had called in the order.. we didn 't get more than 10 tacos. She proceeded to hang up the phone. I called back and told her we didn 't want it any more. 10mins later the delivery guy came and I apologized tohim and told him he needs to tell the woman that sent him why she sent him because I had told her we canceled our order. BUT the weird thing is, we have ordered from them a few times after that, even though we try to avoid them.. "My son took me to breakfast for Mother's Day because I told them about how good your menudo was Because It was the best menudo I ever tried since I've lived here out in Las Vegas I've gone to this location several times to get menudo. "Everything was great until we tried to eat the Baja fish taco and realized it was raw. Thankfully I cut it in half first or I would’ve eaten raw fish, which I definitely shouldnt while pregnant. When we told the waitress she acted like it wasn’t a big deal. We eventually got a new one once we were done with everything else, it was just ok. "Mi Vida is a place I've been wanting to try for a while. I was not disappointed. The service was good, efficient without being obtrusive. The food was fantastic. We ordered the guacamole as an appetizer and was fantastic. I'm not sure what spice blend they use, but it's really good. We ordered enchiladas, I had the Suizas and my friend had the Molé. They were both really good. We also liked all the sides. We got the esquites, the colecitas (brussels sprouts), mixed citrus salad, and the charro bacon beans. They were all delicious! The desserts looked good, but we were too full to try them. Highly recommend this place!"

"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and cooked perfectly. The salads are crispy and properly dressed and the wine list is huge and delicious. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top quality food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and food in the region to celebrate small business ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"I am used to LA-Tijuana Mexican food, so I'm not a fan of cheese drenched Mexican food. I don't want the cheese to overpower the food underneath, which is why I was so happy when I ate at Grand Azteca, because they don't want to hide the dish! I got their chili verde and felt I was back in LA. Chili verde is ultimate comfort food and when I check out new Mexican spots I like to try their comfort food dishes first. I don't know the nuances of Mexican cuisine, but I can tell the difference between dishes made with whole ingredients vs using pre-made–that's fine at home, but I don't care for that when dining out. The pork was fork tender and the rice was so soft and fluffy like a proper pilaf! Some people are turned off by fat chunks (you can see it in my pic) but I love it. It's an indication of flavor and choice of meat cut. If I were to make this at home (I won't because I'm lazy) I would use the same cut. So I'm very happy with Grand Azteca as I live nearby it and can count this spot as my go-to place for Mexican food."
