"The prices are fantastic, and the food arrived faster than I've ever experienced! I really enjoyed my meal. There was a small error with my fiancé's order, but they resolved it promptly. This place will definitely be a regular stop for us in the area!"

"Well, it should have been my first clue on how this dinner was going to be when the server told us the food wasn't that great. ? We had a large group, by the time we got our drink orders the server got one, then left. Chips not great. Salsa not good at all. Main dishes were not good. The beans were horrible, rice I'd say almost tasted stale, and the portions for the price. YIKES. I'm not sure I'd want more to be honest. We tried several things between the group of 15. From chimichanga, to asada burrito, to fajita burrito, to the enchiladas. I'd say the only decent thing was the drinks (margaritas) and the taco salad."

"We had called to see if we could have a party of 10 at 7:30 tonight. We were told yes, no problem. I hate leaving bad reviews because I know everyone has an off day, me included But, we did not feel welcome from the moment we came in. We were seated right away along with chips and salsa. It took another 20 minutes to get offered anything to drink (2 other tables and 2 people at bar total). They made it very clear we really weren't welcome. My Taco Salad was a cold stale shell with probably 2tablespoons of lettuce and a chopped up chicken leg a tablespoon of sour cream and guacamole. Margaritas are not as advertised either. I'm pretty sure my Puerto was orange juice with 1/2 shot of bar rail tequila, did not have grand marnier(but we paid for it)! Awful awful awful! They honestly could care less and how sad! We came in smiling and happy wanting to support a business in the community. They obviously could care less"

"I have SO MANY years of good memories of coming here with our baseball teams. We have been out of town a lot, and my husband and I took a ride and stopped in. The staff has turned over with an amazing crew of awesome team members. Emilio will always be a fave of ours and the owner, Enoch had taken god care of us every time we have ever visited. I am so excited about the new menu and took my mom there to try the shrimp and vegetables. It was delicious. The guacamole was even better than before. Youbhave to ask for the hot green salsa made in the back if you like your eyeballs to sweat. Great atmosphere and delicious food."

"Maybe we hit them up on a bad day (a slowly Sunday) but the food was pretty disappointing, the chicken soft tacos did not have any seasoning on them and so much sour cream it was 2/3rds of it...and made the whole dish cold.The quesadilla was just chicken and a very small amount of cheese, no vegetables just a ton of oil in the to go tray, so much that the quesadilla was soggy, it was literally just chicken and like a sprinkle of cheese, no exaggeration.The meals were also inconsistent, I ordered chicken tacos and asked if they could do a steak tacos as well, the chicken tacos had lettuce, tomatoes and some cheese...the steak tacos literally were just steak in a tortilla.The food overall tasted like it was not fresh and something just tasted off, almost like an artificial/chemically taste to it...it was strange.I don't really enjoy criticizing the quality of others work because it's their livelihood but at the same time something definitely has to give here. I would be willing to try them 1 more time in hopes it was a bad day but overall I probably will never return. I was expecting at least bit better than a chain chili's restaurant and was surprised when a chili's restaurant beat out this place.I highly doubt we will return here again simply due to the fact most of the issues above are visible and noticeable....so they could easily be fixed...they were just CHOSEN to be ignored."

"1st time here waited a good 5 minutes, and saw at least 5 people who work here look me in the eye and say nada! My companion went and got someone, who looked super surprised to be flagged down. Didn't want to judge based on the plates I passed on the way to my table but turns out my assessment would of been spot on without trying the food. The three of us ate a variety of items in pork, beef and chicken and everything was just blah. Truly the worst version of Mexican food I've ever tried. I didn't eat much of any one thing and will never eat here again and pretty sure there is nothing authentic about it."

"Nice place! Stopped by randomly with my mom cause we were hungry. The parking lot looked full which is a good sign they are popular. Turns out they have HAPPY HOUR! Ordered Tacos Garbador, Ceviche Pescado and Birria Tacos. All tasted fantastic. My fave was the Birria. The ceviche was fresh. Didn't expect the presentation of the food was beautiful. Our waiter was awesome. Totally attentive, nice guy even when he was busy. Thanks for the nice experience. We will be back. Looks nice to celebrate family parties too."

"Check this out: El Rey Azteca is an excellent spot to enjoy a margarita and a few birria tacos. It's not easy to find a truly authentic Mexican restaurant in northeastern Pennsylvania, but this one excels in every aspect. The complimentary chips were warm and came with a small bowl of flavorful salsa. Since it’s taco Tuesday, I tried their special tacos along with a margarita, and both were delicious. The table seating area, bar, and restrooms were all very clean and recently updated. The staff welcomed me with smiles and provided great service throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Make sure to stop by for a taco and a drink when you get the chance. Take care, everyone!"

"LOVE going here! It's in my neighborhood, and always has amazing food, lots of variety. Great prices. The only downside is I wish they served breakfast all day, because my favorite is the cactus w/ eggs and sometimes I would like it for dinner. Any time I have friends visiting I take them here! Great place. Great quality. Great service. And the best part, they give you Dum Dum suckers after your meal! Highly recommend!"

Will be contacting the department of labor on behalf of the employees, and they will be audited. They charge employees for errors that the owners is supposed to take on. Many employees have no other restaurants to work for so work here. They also do not provide employees with proper paperwork but instead with outdated paperwork from +5 years ago. "This is a nice place! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and cheery, and the space feels big despite its smaller size. The food was good (I had chorizo quesadillas, and it has that joyful amount of grease that Mexican food should have). It wasn't perfect, but it was plentyyyyy satisfying and tasty. The only genuine complaint I have is how flat the first beer I ordered was (it tasted very wrong). But that's an easy fix. I would recommend this spot!"

This isn't just a one-time thing. We've ordered from them more than 15 times, trying to give them multiple chances, yet almost every order has been wrong. If I request no sour cream, I often receive extra; if I ask for pinto beans, I get black beans or nothing at all. If I order tacos, I frequently end up with a different dish."

"Incredible food! I've traveled across the country for work, and this place ranks in my Top 5 Mexican restaurants. The frozen mango margaritas are fantastic. The Bloody Mary wasn’t outstanding, but it was well-seasoned and served its purpose. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!"
