"My wife randomly mentioned that she wanted to try Cuban food, so I looked up some restaurants in the San Diego area, and we decided to give one a shot. Neither of us had ever experienced Cuban cuisine before, so it felt like an adventure. We knew that plantains are a key ingredient in Cuban dishes, so we made sure to try them. We ordered a pork sandwich made with plantains instead of bread, and papas rellenas, which are potato balls filled with ground beef, battered, and fried. Both dishes were fantastic! We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. The only downside was that we ended up waiting quite a while after finishing our meal for the check. Eventually, we decided to walk up to the counter to pay, as we weren't quite sure how they preferred to handle payments."
