"Service was extremely poor. We ended up cooking our own meats or else they would have burned. Drinks took forever to arrive and they were all non-alcoholic. I ordered spicy food it was mild. I asked for brown rice still received white rice (ok fine no big deal). But the wait for the check was the icing on the cake for me. It took so long to arrive and the server was nowhere to be found. Will not recommend on a Saturday night if your extremely hungry. Food was fair, just poor"

"I had lunch with a couple of friends at Jong Ga House recently, my first time there. The interior is inviting and relaxing, and we were seated right away. The menu is huge the lunch special menu is a bit easier to navigate, but anything on the full menu is available for lunch as well. We shared several dishes soup, mackerel, bi bim bap, and glass noodles. All delicious and seemed quite authentic. The lunch came with a small soup and many small dishes of assorted kimchi. Service was very friendly and efficient. Prices seemed a little on the high side but not too much, especially considering th quality of the food. I'd certainly consider going back again."

"Nothing special. The old lady was nice and did come to grill our meat for us twice. Food was okay, not impressed. Our bill came up to $230 and we tipped $20 because we were there for less than 30 min. Food came out quick because it wasnt busy at all. We were already drinking beforehand and was quite full from it already.. just wanted to try this place out. So we tipped $20 and the lady demanded 20%. Mind you, there was only 3 of us and we got their $174 meal plus some other sides."

"This restaurant offers a vibrant and lively experience. I can see it being a fun place for a date. As soon as you place your order, your food arrives almost instantly, presented with flair. The staff work quickly and passionately, and it's clear they enjoy their jobs, as I noticed them laughing and smiling throughout my visit. The music is upbeat, likely featuring some popular Korean pop tracks. The food was fantastic; I got to try a variety of flavors that were new to me, and I enjoyed every bite."

"It's a small quaint restaurant, and I had high hopes but was sorely disappointed.We ordered 4 items off the menu: [9] Soft Tofu and Seafood Soup (mild) {3/5} [11] Pollack Stew (mild) {3/5} [22] Hand rolled Noodle Soup {2/5} [26] Ox Bone Soup {1/5}All the soups tasted watered down or had little to no discernable flavor (especially 22 and 26). I've tasted other Korean soups that had more flavor than all the ones we had combined. The only saving grace was the rice and sides to fill up on. Maybe it didn't appeal to me because I am not korean, but I wanted more flavor in the broths?Service was good though. Be wary it costs $2 to park in the area in front of the restaurant."

"I was a big fan of this restaurant when I moved here a few years ago however, in recent days the quality of the food and staff just fell off. The vibe you get from the food and restaurant is simply they just don 't care anymore. I went to go pick up an order the other day when the front staff looked angry and frustrated. After swiping my card, the lady didn 't even point to where my order was and just walked away without saying a thank you or here is your order . The food itself is just not the same and the portion sizes seems much smaller then it was before with raised prices. I will not be coming again."

"I think for most people this would probably be four stars but I give it three for my particular tastes. To start they give 5 6 different side dishes (kimchi, salads, cucumbers, broccoli, etc. but I only liked the salad and cucumbers. I am not a kimchi fan but i think those who like it would enjoy it.They are very strict on the other accompaniments. We ordered 4 bbq meat entrees, the seafood pancake and a tofu stew (forgot the exact name for our party of 6 to celebrate my birthday.The give steamed eggs with your order. When we asked how many the waitress said 1 which we thought was kinda stingy. We asked how that is determined and she said 1 with every two orders of bbq meat. We did order 4 so ended up with 2 free steamed eggs which were light and fluffy.Asked for six white rice for everyone and were told we only get five. Probably paid close to $300 for dinner and they are counting white rice bowls on me. We just paid for the last one. Other high end BBQ (which I have reviewed give free white rice and this place is not cheap. $45 for an order of galbi and $35+ for brisket and bulgoki.The brisket was dry 2.5 starWould have been better with more marbling/fat. The bulgoki was sweet but not what I expected. Almost like a stew with more liquid and a mix of chap chae noodles and rice cakes mixed in. My son told me this was more traditional 4 starThe galbi was outstanding 2 bone in strips per order (we ordered two . Very tender and flavorful. I wish they actually cooked the bone part though. Maybe they take it to make beef stock? 5 starsTofu stew one large shrimp and clam. My wife had to add some extra soy sauce but liked it enough after that to take the remaining soup home. 3.5 stars.Free parking is limited. You can also park in the metered lot across the street."
