"Today was the first time that I ordered here from Grubhub. I looked at the reviews before I ordered cause I wanted to surprise my wife with breakfast when she woke up. Normally, I would have cooked for her, but we got in at 6:30am this morning and I needed to sleep, lol. So, I woke up at around 9:30am and placed the order. I realized that the driver was still at the restaurant and had not moved. I texted her and she said that my food wasn’t ready. I called the restaurant and spoke to this pleasant gentleman who explained that he likes to wait until a driver is assigned before making the food or else it would sit. He said that customer service is his first priority because he wants the food to be hot. Say whaaaaat!!! Music to my ears!!!! Now that’s World Class Customer Service!!! Back to the food, the order was correct, it was hot, and might I add; very delicious!!!! Golden Star has a customer for life. My wife even commented on the quality and deliciousness of the food!!!"

"Good place! We ordered pizza pretty late cut it near the closing time and I could get another pizza. They even remained open a little later. Very appreciated. The pizza was nothing from the ordinary, but still solid on its own! (As a bit of feedback, take it or leave it, it would really be a notch if the crust seasoned more) Overall a good place with great service!"

"Usually this place is good for their subs but lately they been falling off. I ordered a whole cheesesteak to feed my family but only the middle of the sandwich was full. So whoever got the ends of the sandwich got bread and mayo. Not cool. When the young middle eastern guy is there at night the food is good but I went in the daytime with a female manager on shift and the food was not good."

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was charming—both friendly and attentive. The warm bread was incredibly tasty. The bruschetta lived up to its appearance and was some of the best I've ever tasted. The fettuccine Alfredo was excellent, though I would have appreciated a little more chicken in it. "if they pay at this place with a debit or credit card make sure they receive a receipt and double check items over their receipt before leaving. the young lady works on 6/1 at 9 o'clock. charged my card extra $4 for something I don't get or even ask. I only ordered an egg and cheese sandwich with a bottle water that should not cost $7.29 today 6/2 @1:35 pm I heard by to talk to the owner about the situation. that was not the way I looked at it, especially from an entrepreneur. so again, ppl, when you see a young lady working the register, they just make sure that they double check her in. "I have been going here for over 30 years now, the people there are very nice to deal with. The food is still decent and priced affordable, but with so many people they have to conform to, they have had to change some of their recipes. Used to absolutely love their vegetable soup because they would put their roast beef trimmings into it, but do to people complaining that had to change. Still is a great place for a good quick meal."
