"I tried to clean off our table with a few napkins, but they quickly became soaked in grease. I couldn’t even rest my arms on my side of the table because of the old food stuck there, which I couldn’t remove with the napkins. When my husband inquired about a menu item he couldn’t find, the server gave him a half-hearted response, merely pointing and saying, “It’s over here” as he continued on his way.
We ordered burritos and fajitas, which took an alarming 20 minutes to arrive, even though the restaurant was nearly empty at 9:00 PM. When our food finally arrived, it was edible but seriously lacking in flavor. I decided to use the hot sauce but was horrified to find that when I opened the lid, it was completely crusted with old, dry sauce and MOLD!
We alerted our server, who took the bottle, wiped it with a napkin, and returned to claim it was a “new” bottle. My husband then asked for a different one, which he brought over, only to find it equally disgusting. Despite the terrible service and poor quality of the restaurant, we remained polite to our server and left a decent tip. However, we will definitely not be returning unless we suddenly feel the need to waste money on bad service and a dirty dining experience."
