"My family’s been living in Saugus for 20+ years. We’ve been ordering from Hong Kong express since they open! Never not once had an issue! Until today, we ordered a PuPu plater for 3, the delivery is always quick with them and never an issue, we pay, get the food bring it inside, open the bag and pull everything out, we notice we’re missing a few items that normally come in the meal. So I call to let them know and they lady is hesitant and tells me “send picture” to the number she spells out to me. I send picture of the food and she texts me back saying “girl put order right” I wasn’t asking for money back just wanted the items we were missing. Never got our food, never got a response. Told them we were good with there services. Couldn’t believe they didn’t help us. Food is great but customer service is horrible."

"I politely explained to the waiter that I am vegan—clarifying that I don’t consume dairy or eggs, just to be clear—and he assured me that the ginger salad was vegan. However, when the salad arrived, it looked different from any ginger salad I've ever had. I suspected there was some kind of cream in it, so I asked again and was rudely reassured that it was indeed vegan. I ended up taking my lactase that night because I experienced symptoms of lactose intolerance."

"This place used to be hit or miss- the past few times its been miss. We ate there yesterday and none of us could even finish our food. My husband, children, and parents all had the same complaint- TOO SALTY. The beans just tasted like they poured a ton of salt on it. The shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. Messed up om another meal. The waitress seemed like she had an issue waiting on people. Won't be coming back."

"My grandmother and I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel connected to this hidden gem! Wow, everything was fantastic—our food was exquisite, and the margaritas were the best I've ever had! Our server, Daniel (who I believe may be Hispanic), was absolutely amazing. Apparently, another server didn't show up, but Daniel managed to handle three times the normal number of tables without missing a beat! As someone who works in the service industry himself, he approached the situation with the best attitude and the biggest smile, even with over 10 tables to take care of. I was really impressed by his dedication and energy. I highly recommend this place, especially in honor of Daniel!"

"I ordered from this restaurant via a delivery service and was quite disappointed. The flavor was average and forgettable, and the food arrived cold. I had the Especial El Parian, which was supposed to come with tender strips of meat, but instead, I received crumbled pieces that were barely recognizable as meat. Grease had pooled in the takeout container and dripped out of the tortilla. The salsa tasted more like tomato juice with a few small chunks of tomato and had only decent flavor. Overall, it was a letdown, and I won’t be ordering from here again."

"My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant for the first time, and we quickly understood why the parking lot was so busy. The food was incredibly delicious, service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered the chipotle burrito, and I was amazed by its size—I couldn’t finish it! Every ingredient was fantastic. It was definitely worth it, and we will certainly be returning. Thank you!"

"We’ve been searching for a good Mexican restaurant, particularly one with a nice carry-out menu. Unfortunately, the menu isn’t available online since it’s still under construction. When I tried to call the restaurant for more information, I just received an automated message saying the voicemail is full. That’s not an effective way to run a business! While the reviews for this place are positive, it seems we'll have to continue our search for a restaurant that offers better customer service. Sorry!"
