"Honestly, food is delicious. So good, perfectly seasoned, nicely plated, well priced. Seriously, kudos to the chefs in the back! But I can 't give them 5 stars because service wasn 't good. The dude who looks like Edna from incredibles hesitated to seat us at first. (They have signs everywhere that says no mask no service but uh, he wasn 't wearing a mask either everyone else who walked in after us didn 't have masks on at all mainly 'cuz most businesses stopped forcing people to wear them back in 2021) but he still nervously asked his bosses if we could be seated. They said yes. So we sat. He basically threw our menus at us from afar. Acted like we were diseased. Rude. We are healthy by the way and no one wasCoughing or whatever so that was whacked. Then he took our orders from a whole table 's length away. Couldn 't even be bothered to stand next to us like a normal server. He literally stood behind the 6 top next to us and took our order. Like Who does that?!He dropped our food and drinks off and didn 't come back for the rest of our meal. Hubby asked him later if we could order takeout. He took our order hubby went to pay. Hubby goes to the restroom dude is at my table telling me do you have another card? Your card was rejected. Really loudly. (Turns out my cc company rejected it because he ran it through multiple times that triggered a fraud alert) I asked if they accepted amex. Nope. Apple pay? Nope. So guys if you have AMEX or Apple Pay be warned: they do NOT take either here. Anyway i wrote my card info down and it went through. I asked him for the paper back and he told me no. WTH? I grabbed a pen scratched it all out but I don 't get why he gave me such a hard time about it. Anyway. If you eat in, be prepared for good food with really weird service. Otherwise, ordering takeout from this place is a good option."

"I always had the opinion that Dot Wo was one of the best Chinese restaurants in Oklahoma City, but I ate lunch there today and it was absolutely terrible, easily the worst tasting food I have had anywhere. I had eaten there years ago and recalled that I didn't care for the shrimp and lobster sauce, but I didn't recall why, so I tried again and it was a disaster. I could almost dismiss it as Asian fashion, as everything was off. However, that excuse doesn't work. They substituted ingredients as if the cook had been dishonorably discharged from the service, or maybe came straight from McDonald's. His choices were wrong and horrible, and I couldn't eat it. I challenge you to order friend wontons anywhere, and you will get little chunks of pork or other meat wrapped in a thin skin and fried, at DW you get fried wrappers - yech! Years ago on the East Coast I grew up on shrimp and lobster sauce, a tasty conconcotion of ground pork, peas, green onions, ginger and eggs. It was so good you could make a meal of sauce and boiled rice. Over the years the pork disappearred, but this mess was mostly water chestnuts and mushrooms and tasted like dishwater thickened with corn starch. The egg drop soup came with 1 pack of saltine crackers, no noodles, and chopped water chestnuts - how can anyone screw this up? For the uninformed, fried rice is brown, usually with bits of egg, it's not yellow and devoid of anything else. The rings were either shrimp paste or a microthin slice of shrimp, at least the flavor was reminiscent of shrimp. I took a couple of swallows of my soda and the waiter refilled it johnny on the spot - apparently this was my one legal refill. When I asked for a refill he asked if I wanted to buy another one. $12.76 with tax, and I didn't tip. Avoid this place like the plague."

"I rarely will post about a bad experience in a restaurant because we worked in the business and understand it could just be a bad day... I have to share a horrible experience with Thai Town in South Elgin. We wanted to try something new and trust me we will not go that route again. Called the order in for pick up and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, went it took another 35 minutes waiting. We ordered 2 pad Thai meals, sesame chicken meal and an order of calamari. While I was there the kids wanted the soda with the tapioca which I thought would be maybe a few dollars 5.00 a piece). I was handed a tiny bag and pulled up a screen to tip her 9.00 or more on the meal I was picking up, they would deliver for 6.00. We are all for tipping but really... I did tip 3.00 like a fool.. The drinks the kids threw out because they said it tasted like bleach. Charged 9.95 we were given literally 8 calamari. They told my son when he questioned why it was so small that calamari is expensive??? We came home and I was just so disgusted and showed my husband so he called the owner got on the phone and he explained to her that he wanted half our money back because it was so bad. She said bring it all back and we said fine we will be right there it was terrible). The son called before we left screaming "How dare you talk to my mother that way and my husband said I was very nice to your mother but I am very very dissatisfied with your service and food. The son said keep the food and fight your bank, I will not give you back your money!!! They said they have to feed their family and could not give a refund to us and my husband said he was simply trying to feed his family and it was unacceptable food and service. The 8 calamari were literately rubber bands dipped in breading served with a watered down sweet and sour sauce..... Longest post I have ever written... Wish I would have read the Yelp and Google Reviews First!!!! Pictures will not post but will upload if I can so you can decide for yourself.."

"Located conveniently in a small strip mall, Nayada Thai initially impresses with its modern, clean design. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly by friendly staff. We ordered two appetizers: Thai Spring Rolls and Crisp Thai Calamari. Our drinks were served quickly, but after about 10 minutes, the appetizers arrived hot. Unfortunately, it was clear that the frying oil needed changing; both the wraps and the calamari were overly dark and crisp, indicating they had been fried in oil that was past its prime. The spring rolls were the generic kind often found in many restaurants, while the calamari, which came in a parchment-lined metal basket, was of the breaded tube variety, served without the chilis and onion typical of Asian-style dishes. Overall, the spring rolls were mediocre and the calamari was decent, but nothing to remember. Once we finished our appetizers, we waited for our server to return, but they were busy clearing tables. Our drinks had run dry, and it took another 10 minutes before we got refills and could place our order for the main course. Since we had missed the lunch menu, my wife and I decided to split a dinner-sized portion of Pad See Ew with chicken. We asked the waiter if they could separate the dish for us, including the egg in my portion and leaving it out for my wife due to her egg allergy. The waiter checked with the chef, who declined our request, so we ended up ordering the dish without egg entirely. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to have our request accommodated. When the entree finally arrived, about 10 minutes later, the presentation was appealing. However, the flavors were bland, and the Chinese broccoli was undercooked, bordering on raw rather than al dente. I tried to get the waiter’s attention for a spice tray, but they didn’t return until we were finished eating to present the check. It’s worth noting that there were only 3-4 patrons in the restaurant at the time, so it’s surprising that the service was so slow. I can only imagine how long the waits would be during busier times. "
