After being told to avoid the salads, because the owner doesn 't understand salads, gives iceberg lettuce and a hand full of carrot sticks, that 's it, I beg my customers not to get the salads . We settled on other items. The onion rings and fries (frozen from Sam 's club, most likely) were the best food items. the Chicken Bread Sandwich my daughter and I had were terrible, dry and tough. The grilled cheese sandwiches for my other two kids were nearly burnt, and were adorned with leavin 's from the grill, which didn 't sit well with my kids. My wife 's cheeseburger was mediocre at best, and could have been purchased from any microwave based restaurant at any gas station nationwide. Apologies if I offend any gas stations. Apparently Big Joe left about 10 years ago. According to our waiter, who was very nice, BTW, a Chinese guy owns it now. Judging by the looks and (lack of) cleanliness, it appears that Big Joe took all of the cleaning supplies with him, but left all of the decorations along with pictures of him, his friends and family, lovingly shellacked into each and every table."
