"If you're in the mood for some comforting comfort food at a reasonable price, this spot is excellent. The chicken sandwich is fantastic, though the fries could use a bit more salt—easily fixed, though. The chicken wings, however, aren’t particularly memorable. So far, I haven't been disappointed by any of their burger or sandwich options; they whip up the food pretty quickly too. Many of the combo meals are designed for sharing and come in charming packages, which adds a nice touch. This place is perfect for a late-night snack after drinking, especially if you're craving something deliciously greasy that won't break the bank."

"Plaza Azteca is a solid choice for Mexican food. The dishes are tasty, but the service is generally quite relaxed. "Food is not what it used to be. Quality has definitely diminished. I've given it various chances and have been consistently disappointed. Got fried chicken chunks and despite them looking red from all the paprika powder, they were bland and stale. Tostones might as well have been plantain chips; thin and hard. Someone in my party ordered a mofongo and it was super dry. Really disappointed because it looks like they changed cooks or something."

"I used to eat here for over eighteen years. Since they retuned after COVID they have gone down. I went there this evening to purchase some food , spaghetti with my daughter. As I am about to give my order I see a cockroach running near the hot pans of the rice and peas!!! The worker swipes the cockroach away then tries to take my order . I turned around to my daughter and told her what happened. We immediately departed the restaurant. This is deplorable conduct to be in this community and serving infested food. Shame on the community!"

"I give this restaurant 4 stars for the fantastic taste of our food! However, for an $80 meal, we only received half a bag of chips, and just one salsa. I also ordered an $8 bowl of cheese dip, and was given only a small plastic cup of it. There wasn't an option to customize our meals, such as removing items like tomatoes. Additionally, we didn’t receive the tortillas that were supposed to come with our meal. It was disappointing, especially because I know La Palma is capable of much better! Nevertheless, the food was delicious as always. I hope they can improve their service for DoorDash orders!"

"The customer service is always excellent. They were one of the first restaurants to put up the huge glass partition between the customers and the food counter. The food is always delicious and for a better price than most Mexican restaurants. 4 stars because sometimes I'll find a hair in my food. It's happened twice, consecutive days, so I took a long break from this restaurant. Happy to say there was no hair this time around. The drinks are always yummy. I need to order the large next time. I drink the smalls really fast. This is my second go-to Mexican restaurant. I only have two. That says a lot. Nacho cheese and well-cooked and seasoned shrimp is a must. They have that here. Keep up the great work guys! ??Order: ?Super nachos w/shrimp and nacho cheese (extra cost for luxury meat cheese? completely understandable) ? ?Mexi bowl w/shrimp and avocado slices. To die for! Wanted the same taste as nachos and burritos, but didn't want the tortilla or chips. Too heavy for me. They wrap the Mexi bowl in Saran Wrap. It comes in a cool-looking bowl. It was so nice! Spill-proof. ?Churro w/no filling. I am so happy they offer filled and sun-filled churros. I strongly dislike filling, but my boyfriend loves it. They've got the best of both worlds at this restaurant."

"The WORST customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, first time in Reno, NV. We stopped at the outlets next door and they recommended us this place for decent prices on the seafood. Right off the bat “the sign to not me on phone while ordering” I knew wasn’t gonna be a good experience then while we are ordering she got mad because I said 1 taco at first then changed my might right away and said 2. She gave the meanest glare at the paper, and it was like that ruined her whole day! I understand being in a restaurant for long periods of time can be draining but if you literally hate your job so much you should quit! The shrimps in my food were old and over cooked and the salsa was so effin hot!!! Never in my life have I ever had such spicy Camarones a la diabla it’s almost like she told the cook to add in a habanero I ate it regardless cause I love spicy but they def did that on purpose. And the coctel of seafood also had old seafood in it we go to mariscos wherever we can and this was by far the worst! Please save your time and money and find another spot. I feel bad for putting this out there but this lady needs to find something she will love doing instead of being blatantly rude to ppl."
