"This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to visit. Both the food and service are great. I would give it 5 stars if it was open on Sundays, but I appreciate that the company gives their employees the day off. The prices have gone up, but it is still more affordable than many other places. I usually order the 2 taco plate, which is always filled with generous portions of meat."

"Great subs. Ordered to go from here many times. Today, I went in with my 5 year old and placed an order for subs. The lady at the counter informed me I could NOT bring in any outside drinks and eat at their establishment. Told her it was a half drunk bottle of water for my daughter, nope policy. Cancelled my order and left. I appreciate that a restaurant can set its own rules. As a customer I can then not give them my business if I feel the rules are dumb. Not allowing to keep a bottle of water (for a child) because they want me to purchase one there is one of those rules. Shame too bc it’s a good place but I won’t be ordering from them ever again. Response to Owner: There was no sign outside, just by the register. The cashier was polite and professional (which has nothing to do with the original issue so why even bring it up) The biggest shame here is that you’d rather respond to any negative review but not work on your customer service or changing the issues people are complaining about. No wonder you’re losing business. I’d rather eat at Cheba hut"

"If you are searching for a decent sushi restaurant, look no further than this one. This is not the first time visiting and will (hopefully) never be my last. My parents and I order the omakase special every time. The sushi I have eaten here are super fresh, not to mention, tasty! There are 30 different types of sauces that will impress even the pickiest sushi eaters. The sushi chef Tom always make us feel welcomed. Five stars is not enough for this place! l highly recommend coming here if you crave amazing quality sushi! You won't regret it!"

"My family enjoys every excuse to go to Tlaloc, and I hadn’t even realize my original review for them never posted. I’m posting pictures from a dine-in experience a month ago and a to-go experience this week. You’ll notice an abundance of chimichangas. Pork is my favorite, but the steak is also well done. I usually go with a shrimp dish, so I like the quesadilla, the cocktail, and the seafood fajitas, which also include squid and fish. Unlimited horchatas is certainly a way to my heart as well. My kids tend to eat the basic quesadilla and fries. There are so, so many things on the menu though that it can definitely be overwhelming. Go anyways. Look at pictures. Ask for recommendations. They are also almost always packed, but we have always been able to find parking, even at the far end of their side gravel lot. I recommend trying them out. Always a good time."

"Best Guacamole. My daughter and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had a buy one, get one 1/2 price on the combo platters coupon (they have 26 platters to choose from! . I 've gotten so I use these coupons on places I 've never been since I 've been very disappointed in the past. This was most definitely NOT the case here! The chips brought to our table when we were first seated were warm, the salsa dip tasty (not too spicy and the guacamole appetizer was some of the best I have ever had as were the refried beans! The guacaole was smooth and creamy and very fresh and the refried beans were creamy and delicious, not crusty like I 've had at other places The ground beef in the dishes was a bit bland but my daugher had a combo with a pepper and said it was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very polite attentive without being annoying and addressed us as Ladies , not the overly familiar, perky reception received at some places. All in all it was a most enjoyable experience, a delicious lunch and we will definitely go back!"

"Placed an order for Thanksgiving wanted the chocolate chip cheese cake ended up with plain pancakes for dessert. Called the lady said they were out of cheese cake. The more I questioned her .she then said I could come pick up the chocolate chip cheese cake. I explained I had no transportation and then she said yes again they had the cheese cake but I had to pick it up. So I said thanks no transportation so good bye."

"This place has truly gone down hill. I remember over 10 years ago being here when it opened. Had a huge sub for everyone to eat off of and a great vibe and quality food. Now..... not so much. Literally today I did delivery, delivered the wrong order and was told that they don 't send out new orders nor refund. They will give 10% off new order. Mind you, it was already 38 minutes pass the delivery time quoted. Was told its Doug Harris policy. What a shame. I 'm done."

"I've driven by this diner for 20+ years and always wanted to stop in. Stopped in today with my son ... It didn't live up to the expectations. It's hard times these days and inflation is a **** ... places are struggling, I get it. This place could just use some major updating is all. the cushioning in our booth was completely shot. Felt like we were sitting on sharp springs. Add in the appearance of dirt and grime. It didn't feel too pleasant to be dining in there. I kinda wanted to leave. I dig the cemetery next door and the coziness of the diner though. Also, it doesn't get much more fresh, the food comes directly off the grill (which is literally a few feet away from any booth. The quality of their food isn't good. Both of our plates were covered in a puddle of oil. (I wanted to throw my eggs a life preserver. (Bastards were drowning in it) I look up from my plate and see my son's face shining in grease ... he looked like radioactive man. About 30 napkins later and greased up fingers/face, we called it quits. We left 1/4 of our meals since we were both getting a little grossed out and didn't want to be sick later. In retrospect, we probably shouldn't eaten as much as we did. So yea, I will continue driving by this place. Now I know. Why not use less cooking oil? Seriously. Hell, use avocado cooking spray or something lite. Their breakfast could be amazing. Server was great and she was very quick with the coffee refills. I love that. Take the good with the bad. Maybe it was an off day. Peace out"

"An authentic restaurant where you will find good food at reasonable prices. The waiter was professional. The music was Mexican, a bit loud, but I liked it that way. The establishment looks clean. There is a room in front of the dining area which is a cocktail lounge. I had a tasty lunch there in a nice big booth. I intend to return there again. "The Best. I've been eating here for years. I see regulars there every time I go. It's one of those kind of places you just get addicted to, especially if you are tired of those big plates of brown gooey, so-called TexMex food. (TexMex is code for ed-up Mexican food). "The interior of the restaurant is absolutely lovely, with beautiful decor, a great ambiance, and delightful music. The food is exceptional, and I particularly enjoyed the drinks and the tableside guacamole and salsa, which are prepared right in front of you. When I discovered this restaurant, I was surprised by how far it is from Phoenix. However, there was one downside: we had an issue with a particular server who identifies with the LGBTQ community. I have no problem with that, but his service was quite subpar. He seemed more focused on chatting with his friends who came by than on attending to the customers. Overall, I felt that he didn't quite fit in with the restaurant's vibe."
