"We started with the fried edamame, which was amazing, and the spicy sushi entrée, easily the best spicy sushi I've ever had. We also enjoyed complimentary tea. However, my main dish was one of the Damo specials, which are more expensive than the regular sushi and advertised as being enough for one meal with eight pieces. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet those expectations.
I ordered the Black Pearl roll, which included salmon, black fish roe, mango, and fried crab sticks. While it was wider than a typical sushi roll, it only came with five pieces. The biggest disappointment was the lack of salmon; the roll was mostly filled with the fried sticks, and there was just one piece that actually had a decent amount of fish. I paid $17 for what felt like mostly air, and when I finished, my stomach was still rumbling."
