"It's a nice Italian restaurant with good service. If you come here go for the pizza which it extremely good! The pasta dishes were mediocre at best, simple and too salty. The chicken in the pasta wasn't tasty. The decore is old, but all in all, a goodplace for pizza with nice service and welcoming atmosphere."

"I drop in once and awhile when im in the area and really hungry.The Italian combo sub is actually pretty good. I would recommend but it needs more meat. Stay away from the chicken Parm. It's seems akin to something you would get in NYC public schools at lunchtime. It's like chicken patty w filler- not actual chicken cutlet.The staff is really friendly and hard working- however- If theres more than two people ahead of you, prepare to wait for at least 15- 20 mins. The staff is awesome though and they are the gems that make this place worthwhile.All in all- nothing fancy, just a bodega that sells some household items, some beverages and makes some sandwiches. Some of their sandwiches are good, some should be avoided. Seems to be a neighborhood staple.*Pros- approachable, affordable, decent Italian combo subs, beer in cooler, friendly staff, not overpriced, easy location, household goods- authentic neighborhood spot- not some b.s overpriced hipster bullsh*t.*Cons- very slow if busy, not many sandwich options, not good chicken Parm."

"The team at Mark's Pizza is incredibly warm and hospitable as soon as you step inside. They serve a diverse selection of pizzas, and their sauce stands out—absolutely one-of-a-kind compared to other pizzerias. I always request extra sauce on my slices because it’s so delicious! The dining space is roomy and comfortable. Definitely one of the top pizza places in NYC!"

"This pizzeria is really convenient for me to visit. I love the mixed veggie pizza slice and the classic cheese pizza slice. The pizza here is pleasantly lean and a bit greasy, just how I like it. They also offer chicken rolls, but they tend to sell out quickly. I'm excited to try more items from their menu. The junior pizza slices are another great option, especially since they're only a dollar each."

"I have been eating at Mama's for 35+ years and have loved so many experiences there. When our kids were younger they loved sitting around the colorful fountain and playing the arcade games. The food and service were always friendly and family oriented. I even had my husband bring a deluxe sub to the hospital after our daughters were born. About a decade ago we noticed a decline in quality and customer service at this store, which is our neighborhood shop. After years of not ordering from here, we decided to give it another try a few weeks ago. We ordered a large pizza and a family size salad. The pizza was so-so, sauce was not adequate and toppings were minimal. The salad had a lot of slimy pieces in it, so we decided to return it to the store, especially since the price tag is $24.95. When we arrived, Jay was working the counter. To say he was not amused we were returning the food would be an understatement. We asked for a refund for the salad and he told us the store policy was only $15 would be allowed for returns. After letting him know that this was not acceptable, that we would talk to the manager the next day for clarification. As we were leaving he yelled at us across the store, not going to repeat what he said, but it is no wonder there were no guests sitting in the restaurant. It used to be full on a Friday night. This was three weeks ago. I have spoken to Dominic and Freddie several times with the promise of some response from management, but nothing. Called Liz at the Speedway store only to be told they no longer managed that location. It is too bad that once amazing restaurants end in such decline due to bad management. They have received the last order from us"

"Oh my word. Totally memorable evening. Family dine in. Witnessed stuff I could not let go. They ran out of nearly everything. All customers were in disbelief. They sent employees to Frys for more stuff...sauce, dressings, even pizza dough. A new employee quit on the spot. We felt bad and questioned....none of the young employees have been getting paid!!! Some for MONTHS!!! Luckily my family started kicking out $20's and giving to these poor kids that were working so hard for NOTHING. Myself and some other good men confronted the manager who lied about paying then tried to push Blame on the owners etc. THIS CANNOT GO ON! This guy won't learn it's not his fault according to him but the employees need to go elsewhere to not work for free for this BS. They made us a good pizza with what they had I am so proud of them but management and ownership of this location should be put down for knowing and willing incompetence and exploitation of employees.Personally I am not finished with this.The stars are for the kids working so hard.Original owners would be sickened and disappointed."
