"I adore this cozy restaurant. The Mexican food here is authentic and delicious. The chefs are all women, which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is very casual and all the staff are fluent in both English and Spanish. One of the reasons I love this place is because it's only 4 minutes away from my house. They offer a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On a scale from 1-10, I would give it an 8."

"$70 for breakfast we returned the menudo bc it tasted and smelled like it wasn't washed correctly we returned it and we're still charged for it. We ordered 2 breakfast combo plates 2 drinks a lg menudo and a guacamole and we paid $70 too much if u ask me. We won't be returning here. The least they could have done was take the menudo off."

"The restaurant offers a solid selection, though it's not overly extensive. The balance of flavors and spice is quite good—there are definitely some spicy options available, but they don't overwhelm with heat. The service is relatively quick, which is great for those on the go. They also have a nice variety of salsas available for takeout. One downside is that they use foam containers, which is disappointing."

"First time here for us but we won 't be back. Food was good. Service was good. But, watch out for the prices. The menu prices definitely DO NOT match what this guy at the register charges you. Example, a plate of tacos on the menu is $8.99 but this guy (probably the owner) charged $16.00. He said that the menu card says that prices can change w/o notice . Yea but that 's a huge difference I told him that he needs to update the menu which wouldn 't be expensive since the menu is just a single piece of paper. Also, this is the only restaurant we 've ever been to where they charge 35 cents per tap water glass. It 's the principle that matters... the principle of being HONEST my friends and reasonable There 's lots of excellent restaurants near by so I recommend skipping this one. Seriously."

"This place is a hidden gem; Erie is lucky to have such amazing traditional Mexican food with ingredients this healthy and authentic! They don't have a deep fryer; they don't use chili powders, only peppers; they source their meats and vegetables with the customer's satisfaction and health both in mind. The recipes are the ultimate perfect version of Mexican foods found at other traditional Mexican restaurants. They have a special entree in addition to the regular items, and I would suggest that. Our chicken was cooked to perfection; the queso fundido was better than and unlike any other I'd had before; the soup was wonderful and I wanted to drink the broth; even our margueritas were better than any we'd had before. A+ all around and we'll be back soon!"

"We always make a point to visit Carino because the food is exceptional, especially the guacamole, soups, shrimp enchiladas, hanger steak, fish tacos, and flan! The fantastic and affordable margaritas, along with the warm and friendly service and inviting atmosphere, enhance the overall experience. The bar scene is also particularly nice! We always leave with a smile on our faces!"

"Bad customer service from whoever answers their phones. I ordered over the phone on 4/28/2023 around 9:13 and whoever answered was extremely rude! From the moment she picked up the phone I noticed by the way she answered sounded annoyed. She would not let me finish making my order and she wanted tu hang up already. I got it she must be having a busy morning but there is busy and there is RUDE!!!!!! By the time i finished ordering she hung up. I was asking her what the total was and she had already hung up. Food is great here, but for a customer service like this is why people never go back!"
