"We eat at the Dallas Chop House every year when we attend the Dallas Gift Show. There is one server who makes the evening a special one for us. He was there again, and we enjoyed our evening because of him, but ONLY because of him. We made a reservation and was placed in a makeshift room due to the restaurant being busy. It serves sometimes as a private dining room. I was confused when we were placed in that room but sat down deciding not to complain. I honestly felt as if I had left the Dallas Chop House and entered a Denny 's. Formica tables, with place mats, harsh lighting and the door being closed off to the main restaurant made the meal incredibly uncomfortable based on what we expected (and paid for). To make matters worse, there were four other tables in that little room filled with people who were attending a National Safari convention. They were very proud about killing elephants, zebras, lions and other endangered species, etc. and were sharing their experiences from table to table. One table also brought a baby that cried. Needless to say, our $300 dinner for two was not the experience we were hoping for. Was any of this the restaurants fault? Probably not, other than they should have made us aware of where we were going to sit, and the demographics of the group. We were the only ones NOT wearing some sort of cammo, so it should have been a no brainer to put us in an area of the restaurant that may have been consistent with what your typical diner expects. While we are carnivores, we don 't necessarily appreciate the senseless killing of animals as a trophy. The food this time was just good and the drinks were marginal. Will we be back? Possibly, but the sting of paying a $300 bill for a Denny 's experience is not easily forgotten!"

"If I could give this place an appropriate rating, it would be an abysmal -200 because you ruined my day. You've also etched a negative memory about dining in OKC, and you've created a skepticism about all other future dining experiences. If you are black person in the Oklahoma City area, please do not go to this restaurant. They obviously do not want your money. It was a nice Sunday afternoon, and I wanted to spend time with my siblings. We drove from Norman to OKC specifically for this restaurant. When we got there, the hostess was standoffish, and didn't really greet us. She directed us to a table and ambiguously told us to sit, and I had to ask where specifically. She never mentioned that a waiter or waitress would be attending to us soon. She left and she never came back. No one offered us water or anything for about 15 minutes. We kept looking at our watches, and looking at the wait staff in front of the restaurant, and it looked like they were actively ignoring us. The wait staff were obviously lingering too. We felt invisible, and worthless. We eventually got and left because I don't want any negative racist energy around my food. Funny thing, they attended to the next party that came after us promptly. Obviously, I will never step foot there again because I'm not wanted there. The rude part was that the hostess acted like she was oblivious to what was going on even though she kept looking and moving around the restaurant."
