"Am (was) a regular, and used to the slow kitchen. However, tonight food was over 1.5 hrs. to get to the table, and when it did 1/3 of order did not arrive. When Mgmt. finally came they were unapologetic, and rude when advised of issues was told if I did not like it, don 't come back. Have been in restaurant industry for years and used to off nights. It 's how the customer is taken care of that counts. They have lost a local regular , and will take my business elsewhere where it appreciated in these times."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem located in a small plaza that may go unnoticed if you're not familiar with the area. All seafood dishes are cooked to order, allowing you to witness the preparation right in front of you. The atmosphere feels cozy and reminiscent of a classic diner, but the staff is friendly and efficient. I tried the poached yellowfin tuna melt, which was served on buttered pan-browned bread with a side salad. The tuna was fresh and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the mayo. For the lunch special, I had the shrimp po' boy on a toasted roll with crispy shrimp, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo. It was served with hot curly fries and the shrimp was exceptionally fresh and tasty. The overall experience was enjoyable and the food was top-notch."

"Honestly this is my fav little place to get sushi! The rolls are big, the portions are big, the taste is always fresh and the staff knows us by heart now. Anyone who pays attention that well and knows our order every time deserves praise. Love the staff here. We order the Ocean Roll 2x a week and it’s always amazing and very fresh. I’ve had the Jumbo Shrimp roll and that was very good as well. They have no issue modifying any roll if needed as I don’t eat certain things so it’s a big plus! Their menu is also huge, and their Chinese section is also very good. We have had the honey garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken and both were wonderful and the tempura batter is very nice. We’ve also had the veggie low main and that was tasty and a big portion. They are not afraid to pack your meal with food here! Highly Recommend Sushi and Chinese food place."

"We had a lovely dinner here. Service was good, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed our food. It located in the Publix shopping center on the west side of 441. The road is busy so it's not the easiest to make a turn into the center coming from the south. Hopefully, they will activate the traffic lights that have been installed. Inside it's nicely decorated booths along one wall were the busiest. And there's a sushi bar as well. I started with a small silver soup. I was curious to try it as I'd never heard of this type. It's a lot of veggies in a chicken based broth with a shrimp and a few chicken pieces along with clear noodles. It was good. And now I know. My husband had their mini sushi plate. Five smaller pieces of sushi and a tuna roll were a much larger portion than he'd expected. It was very good. I had a shrimp tempura roll that had lettuce, avocado, and cucumber along with the battered shrimp. The roll was huge! And I'd definitely get this again, but ask for no lettuce next time. The menu is quite large. Or rather I should say menus plural as there is one for sushi and Japanese and one for Thai food. There are many more selections I'd like to sample so, we look forward to coming back again. This place is a keeper!"

"We drove by and they looked busy. We walked in and got a table right away. The service was amazing. Our waitress was great and attentive. The portions were huge, even the appetizers. We got the frito misto, prime rib, crab with mahi mahi, and shrimp en croute. The frito misto was not heavy for being fried. The entrees were piping hot, even the baked potato. The chargrilled asparagus was delicious and memorable. Everything was well seasoned. By the time our entrees came, we were getting full because the food was rich. I was blown away with the experience and delicious food. Would highly recommend for dinner in the area."

"The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, and the restroom was spotless too. I noticed a charming orchid placed near the top of the wall, adding a lovely touch. We sat in a booth at the front, and there were also larger tables alongside the booths for bigger groups. Although it's a small establishment, it has a cozy atmosphere. The food arrived quickly, and the service was excellent. The prices were quite reasonable, making it a great value for the quality offered. The restaurant is located in a plaza next to a Mexican restaurant. The only thing that could improve this spot would be the addition of liquor service, as I don’t drink beer, wine, or sake. However, it is definitely a place I'd return to for a quick meal and a pleasant experience. We were able to park right in front, and they have takeout menus outside for you to check before entering if you’d like. Next time, I think I’ll try the udon!"

"The appetizers and the main courses were all excellent. In particular the teriyaki salmon was among the best prepared salmon I have ever had. The presentation of the dishes is beautifully done. Service could have been a bit more attentive. Count on having to valet park as self parking is virtually impossible. Although I had an open table confirmed reservation the host did not have it on her sheet. It was not a problem as they had available tables however, if you go through the trouble of making the reservation it should make it to the restaurant."

"Honestly annoyed. Placed an order a couple hours ago. No utensils for my meal. No chopsticks for my sushi. What’s crazy is a customer named Jason came to pick up and I heard the server ask if he needed utensils with his meals. That’s how I know the gentleman’s name. I didn’t think to ask because why would the server ask him and not me so I assumed my utensils were with my bag. I also dislike that I was given soy sauce (which I don’t eat) but was going to be charged for eel sauce. The food was also subpar. I would NOT return."

"I am a city resident, but when a local friend recommended a nearby sushi restaurant, I had to check it out. It turned out to be a fantastic suggestion. From the moment we arrived, the place had a winning vibe, with everything I could ask for: cleanliness, friendliness, and skilled chefs. My salmon roll was perfection, with fresh, fatty slices of salmon sashimi, flavorful squid, and perfectly seasoned sushi rice. Everyone in our group was pleased with both the food and service. My only disappointment is that there isn't a Tomo in my city."

"We eat at Island Way Grill often, today we had a party of 6 celebrating Father's Day. Food was Very Good, Service Was Great.. but that's where it ends. The restaurant was hotter than Hades. . . I mean it was unbearable, other guest were complaining and fanning themselves to no avail was asked the Manager twice and she said the air was on, but if it was it was broken or set at 90. The servers were sweating and so were the guests. It was not enjoyable at all, it probably would have been cooler sitting outside. Being Dressed to the 9's and sweating like being in a workout class is Ridiculous !"

The food was absolutely outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the Egg Rolls and Tuna Rolls—they were both delicious! Service was top-notch as well, with staff being attentive and friendly, also receiving a perfect score of 5. "My friends and I went to the restaurant for dinner on a weekend and it was very crowded. We were seated relatively quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. However, the food could use some improvement. While it wasn't terrible, we have had better sushi at other places, so there is room for improvement with some of the dishes. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki was overly sweet and the chicken did not taste quite right. Some of the sushi was tasty, but others were just average. Despite this, I would still recommend this restaurant overall."

"Best Thai Sushi has always been a great experience overall. They are small, I highly recommend you call in for a reservation if you can, as they tend to fill up quick in the evenings but if you're willing to wait they'll make space in time. The food is great here and the price is amazing. I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed everything I've had. Sushi is fresh, food is cooked well, and it's all extremely tasty. "I had been brought here prior by family but wanted to come back and discover if I simply had rose tinted glasses in memory. Volcano is a modest size sushi bar with several options of wines, sake, beer and spirits. While my drinking days are behind me this was something that I enjoyed seeing such well equipped bars. I ordered the fried Takoyaki as my appetizer the balls of takoyaki melted in my mouth as a flood of sweet, slightly salty but very savory tastes overtook my taste buds. The takoyaki was thoroughly cooked and absolutely delicious. For a primary entree I picked out the Double Crunch roll. With all rolls here it came out with pristine conditions. On first bite the cream cheese and avocado exploded in my mouth, then the crunch as the crunchy topping met my teeth. It left a mild burn from the spicy mayo inside, but not overwhelmingly hot. During my visit the waitresses were very attentive filling my glass prior to it even getting below half full. Overall impressions, I am very happy with the level of service at this restaurant and hope to see its success for many years to come as it will become a staple visit when I come into the okc area for business."

"I would give 5 negative stars if I could! I ordered online through their site. It took 45min for 1 sushi roll and 1 sunomomo. The excuse was we very busy . There were (2) two tops dining in, a door dash driver waiting on a small pickup (his order was 20min past due time) and one lady walking out with to go. To top it off, the photo of what the item is online is not what the actual item is. I ordered the spicy salmon and ita chopped salmon inside the roll. I called and they said that 's how it 's made and online doesn 't have a photo. They are incorrect and have no idea what their website is even showing. The sunomono was completely flavorless. There are plenty of places to spend your money with better service and good food in this area."
