"A tough one to rate. I’ve been a fan of coffee tree for years and used to frequent the now gone Sq. Hill location. These guys roast great coffee and I only go to this location for fresh beans but the service there is horrid. Baristas are never friendly never engaged and I never feel welcomed in there. Maybe I’m too heteronormative for them? It’s really disappointing because I going to get my beans there regardless but having to suffer through the transaction makes it more of a chore than a treat. So it’s five stars for the bulk coffee but 1 star for everything else"

"I live a 15 minute walk from the center of town. I walked through fields and passed doggies to get to George Howell. It was a happy walk and my iced coffee hit the spot. The staff at George Howell promptly took my order and asked me the most important question, room for milk? For someone who was in quarantine the past week, this walk and quick social exchange hit the spot. The weather was windy but warm. My five layers were enough -even too much. The mid-day pick me up was a good idea. In 50 minutes i 'll go back to Dunks."

"We purchased a bag of this at Farmer Joe’s on the Cape and it is by far the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. We bought the hazelnut flavor and it is absolutely outstanding. It’s rich and decadent and truly tastes like a luxury, like you should be saving it for special occasions. It’s so good you want to let it sit on your tongue for a minute before swallowing. We keep it simple with just cream and sugar (I love it chilled over ice). The flavor of the coffee on its own is better than any flavored creamer you can buy in the store or at a chain. I can’t say enough good things about it, I don’t think we’ll ever buy another brand. This blows every other coffee out of the water."
