"This was our first visit to Kansaku, and we were very pleased. The service was a bit slow, but that wasn't a problem because we had a lot of catching up to do. We had Sapporo Dark beer, edamame, and pickle to start. If you haven't had Japanese pickle, please! Give it a try. It is so yummy. We proceeded to order two rolls and some nigiri. Everything was very fresh and nicely presented. One roll we knew would be spicy, and the other we thought would not. However, it turned out they were both spicy.
