"It took a while for a waitress to take our order, and it seemed like the staff's main focus was on the patrons at the bar and outside. There were only a few customers inside, which felt more like an afterthought. I ordered the Schroomburger along with sweet tea. When it finally arrived, the burger was drenched in so much grease that the bottom bun fell apart as soon as I picked it up. It also seemed like it had sat in the pick-up area for a while, as it wasn't very warm. The only thing that was executed well were the accompaniments. They should have served the burger standing up to let the excess fat drain off the bun. Refills on my drink were very slow. I decided to try the much-advertised apple cake, but it tasted like something bought from a store—frozen and unremarkable. Overall, it wasn't worth my time, especially with so many excellent dining options nearby."
